Extra strong plastic sacks (ex 25Kg water softener tablets) (Lower Earley RG6)

Offered: a stack of 15 plastic sacks, each of which originally held 25Kg of water softener salt tabs. These plastic bags are very strong, much stronger than the regular black rubble sacks that you can buy at DIY stores. They are ideal for transporting soil or rubble. Also quite good for garden waste that would be too heavy or too spiky for a less robust sack. Other uses include, for example, collecting together the kids beach footballs and other toys into a bag that can live in the garage until I want to throw it into the boot to go somewhere. If you had a pet or were clearing a loft then probably you could imagine other uses too. I have rinsed each bag to remove (most of) the salt residue. However it does dribble a little, so your feet may get wet if you are not careful. A large TV unit in black glass and metal with an option to mount a TV on a stand which can be swiveled. Very good condition. Overall width 110cm by 40cm, but note that the back corners are slightly cut so that the width at the back of the TV unit is 800mm - this would allow you to put it diagonally in a corner You could mount a TV on the integrated stand, which swivels or you can put a TV just sitting on the unit (and the integrated stand will not be visible behind it). We have done this with a 55" Sony and it just fitted. Available for collection from our home in Lower Earley.

Bosch heavy duty electric hedge trimmer and pole saw I have used this to trim some very tall hedges we inherited when we moved into our home but no longer need it now that we have reduced their height It has been stored in our shed for over a year and when I tested it before listing on freegle all the components seemed OK separately but I could not get them to work together. The base unit powers up and spins the drive shaft when switched on with nothing attached, but when the trimmer or saw are attached I could not get it to drive them. Hence I am listing this for spares or repair. This is a chunky unit driven by mains electric (so it has a power cord, not a battery) Pros: . powerful enough to cut tough hedges . long enough to cut very tall hedges . giving it away now as this is a good time of year to cut some hedges Cons: . heavy . will give your shoulders a workout, especially if you use the extension pole The oil reservoir for the pole saw looks empty which I suspect means it may be leaking a little. I can refill it for you before you take it away or you might prefer not to risk a leak into your vehicle. Available for collection from our home in Lower Earley.

The speakers all seem OK but the amplifier is now unreliable - it will power up and start working fine but then may make bursts of noise or just go silent. You might like the speakers or have the time and skills to repair the amp (or get it repaired).
