Free: Old but serviceable microwave (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted This is a working Sharp microwave which I bought secondhand just under 2 years ago. It has been used most days since then. 1000W with various different settings. It's a bit difficult to get totally clean inside but is perfectly functional. Collect from Walton Manor.

Free: Stairgate (Jericho OX2) Gifted This is an adjustable starigate which does not require permanent fixtures and can be easily removed and used elsewhere - it adjusts to fit different door widths. We bought it second hand to use with a pet who had to be kept in one part of the house: we now no longer need it and only had it for a few weeks so it is in good condition. Still in orginal box. Ideally would like it collected before the weekend.

Free: Extension cable (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted Hi this was in the shed when we moved in - we have one so don't need another. It's a bit old and battered but still works.

Free: Bathroom unit (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted Can only one make use of this? It's a freestanding bathroom unit with three containers. A little bit of rust around some of the joints but otherwise okay.

Free: Cardboard boxes (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted I have around 10 cardboard boxes of various sizes which might be useful for someone about to move house. Will be folded down to make them easy to transport. Collection from Walton Manor at any time,

Free: Solid wood sideboard (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted This "Dansk" sideboard does not fit in my new house and I had planned to sell it. However, it sustained some water damage on two of the doors (shown in pix) while in storage so I am putting it on freegle. It's a very beautiful piece of furniture, about 2m long and made out of solid wood (I think oak). If you don't mind the water damage, the doors could be reattached and it could be used as a sideboard - the rest is in excellent condition; otherwise it could be an open unit. There are three sections, each with a shelf, and the middle one has a drawer for cutlery. It is pretty spacious and holds a lot. The doors had been removed to enable it to be moved more easily and I have not reattached them. It is very heavy and will need to be moved in a van with a couple of strong people to shift it (my daughter and I will help). Please don't say you want it if you can't collect it - it certainly won't fit in a car.

Free: packing boxes (Jericho OX2) Gifted UPDATE: we should have 8-10 available tomorrow - can't leave them outside because of the rain but if anyone wants them let me know with a time you could collect. I am moving house at the weekend and, from the start, of next week I anticipate having a large number of packing boxes which I won't need. They will likely become available over a period of several weeks as we get sorted out so it is hard to be definitive about numbers and timing at the moment. But if anyone is moving within that timescale and could make use of them, please let me know and I will keep in touch with you.

Free: Leather armchair (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted Black leather armchair which swivels and reclines. Can be dismantled for easier transport. Old but still a lot of use in it: only getting rid of it because it is too large for my new house. Collection from Walton Manor asap.

Free: Futon chair/bed (Walton Manor OX2) Gifted Red futon chair/bed, ideal for sleepovers. The base pulls out to make a reasonable size single bed and the futon unfurls. Very slight tear in fabric. Collection from central Oxford.

Free: Office chair (Walton Manor OX2) Expired Office chair with arms. Adjustable height and swivel wheels. Very comfortable but now surplus to requirements. Slight damage to one of the arm rests. Collection from central Oxford.

Free: Wooden table (Jericho OX2) Gifted Hi this is an old wooden kitchen table about 1.20m long. It's a bit battered but might be useful as a kids' craft table or as a potting table or similar. Would need to be collected by the weekend as we are moving. (It's less shiny than it appears - I had just wiped it down!)

Request: Cardboard boxes (Jericho OX2) Received I am moving soon and need to pack up my house ready for the removal company. Is there anyone locally who has moved in recently and needs to get rid of the large cardboard boxes removal companies use? Thanks.
