It seems a real shame to put it in the tip but your not meant to use 2nd hand mattresses for cots... someone could maybe make use of it as a spare, as a dog bed or a cushion for an outdoor seat? It works fine, we just can’t get the door off it! It’s only a few years old and it would be a shame to have to take it to the tip. You might be able to get the door off, or use it in a garage/utility. It will need a clean inside. Has a cutlery tray that can be removed & the cutlery basket is available too.
