Hi Folks I'm looking for a car to stand in the driveway of a elderly relative, to reduce the impression of a vulnerable house. I'll keep the car clean and occasionally reposition it, but it won't go out on the road. So if someone out there in Freegle land has an old car in the Wokingham area with an about-to-expire MOT, I will gladly take it off your hands and give it some purpose before its final journey to the crusher! Here's another item from the serial gadget-collector's house of horrors! Cordless spotlight with internal 6V rechargeable battery 500,000 candle power (when it works!) Takes an automotive H3 6V-55W bulb. Never used, but non-working - I suspect the battery has failed due to long term storage. It should be an easy fix to either replace the battery, or you could rewire to work directly off 12V car battery (note that the bulb fitted is 6V)
