Free: Humax TV Freeview Play HD Recorder (Headington OX3) Gifted This connects between aerial and TV and converts a non-smart TV into a smart one, and can record programmes. Not used for some time, I think it's working OK but needs testing. It dates from 2018 and when we used it was able to get BBC iPlayer and Netflix but not ITV-x.

Free: Wind-up gramophone with bits missing (Headington OX3) Gifted This is an Edison-Bell portable wind-up gramophone BUT important bits are missing: the wind-up handle (probably easily replaced) and the head that contains the diaphragm and holds the needle. So it's really only for show or for parts.

Free: Lock for laptop and wireless mouse (Headington OX3) Gifted The cable lock fits into a small slot on the laptop - I'm not sure if modern laptops have this. Older ones do. Mouse is wireless and comes with a little USB-plug-in receiver. Has battery. Please take both.

Free: Chinese books for beginners (Headington OX3) Gifted Selection of books for beginners in Chinese (Mandarin). Most will have some pencil markings that could be rubbed out. A few have occasional ball-point markings. Please take the whole lot, not individual ones.

Free: Bookcase/shelving unit (Headington OX3) Gifted This is a Schreiber 'Hi-Fi storage cabinet' - we've had it in use as an office bookcase/filing unit. Ht 75 cm, depth 40 cm, length 102 cm. It's quite heavy so will need two people to bring it downstairs (it's too heavy for me). Or potentially it could be disassembled.

Free: Altura pannier bag (Headington OX3) Gifted Altura bicycle pannier bag that's like a briefcase, with a shoulder strap. Fits usual pannier carrier. Has its own waterproof cover.

Free: Swedish books for anyone learning the language (Headington OX3) Gifted A variety of books and even a cassette course on Swedish language (can't promise the cassettes still work), including two novels in Swedish, one being Graham Greene's 'The Third Man'. The textbooks have some pencil markings in them which could be rubbed out. Ideal if you've made a New Year's resolution to learn a new language!

Free: Apricot Crush emulsion paint (Headington OX3) Gifted One unopened 2.5 litre tin, one half used, of Dulux 'Luxurious Silk' Apricot Crush emulsion. They are a few years old but I have used the opened one for touching up and it seems fine.

Free: Inspection lamp (Headington OX3) Expired Lamp with big clip, useful for DIY in awkward places. It doesn't have a lamp-shade.

Free: Dell keyboard and monitor (Headington OX3) Gifted These are from a Dell Optiplex bought 2003. The monitor connects via a 15-pin D-shaped connector (cable supplied). The keyboard has a round 6-pin colour-coded connector. Both working so far as I know. The computer itself is also available but I have taken out the hard drive. It has a CD-reader.

Free: Sony FM radio and cassette player (Headington OX3) Gifted Sony radio, still works well, but note it's FM, longwave etc, not DAB. Can't be certain that the cassette player is working but it still turns. It's been used while working around the house so needs a good clean-up. Mains or battery (mains lead will come with it).

Free: Insulating foil for radiators (Headington OX3) Gifted Fairly complete roll of insulating foil to go behind radiators (and reflect heat back into the room). I've used bits of it to insulate my loft access.
