The battery is failing, which is a shame as the drill is great. If you want to try replacing the battery cells this would make a great drill again. The cells are NiCd but I have been told they can be replaced with NiMH cells which are now easier to get hold of. I did send off 2 other batteries to be so re-celled but I was let down.
