Free: Collapsible laundry basket (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Promised IKEA laundry basket for collecting or carrying dirty clothes - it has a lid that velcros shut, and it can also Velcro closed when collapsed too. It’s made of mesh and has handles to carry the contents. In good condition, no tears or damage anywhere to the mesh and Velcro works fine.

Free: Bag of coat hangers (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Promised Maybe 50 hangers? Mix of different kinds. Would be good for someone who is moving out to uni soon for example.

Free: Tower fan (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Promised 3 speeds, 120 minute timer Works fine but the bottom kept falling off so I stuck it back on with tape. That means that it can’t oscillate anymore (although if you can figure out a better way to fix it, go for it, because the oscillate button works fine; I could never get it to stay screwed in but maybe you’ll have better luck). Obviously it isn’t pretty, but it’s over 30° today and it’s a free fan 😂

Free: DVD box sets (Cheadle Hulme SK8) The White Queen (adaptation of Philippa Gregory book set in Plantagenet England) The New Adventures of Superman (Superman show from the 90s starring Teri Hatcher) Veronica Mars (teen noir detective show from the 2000s starring Kristen Bell) All are the complete show with all episodes (minus the streaming series of Veronica Mars that was made recently and is only on Prime), so you can find a new favourite.

Free: Wooden storage case (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted 45cm x 22cm x 5cm Used to hold pencil crayons, there’s a bit of tape still inside where the insert was removed. We don’t need it but it seems a shame to bin it if someone could get some use out of it. Maybe to store pens/pencils again, or matchbox cars?

Free: Foot bath with massage/heat (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted Used maybe half a dozen times over the years, still in perfect condition. It’s just quite big to store for something I don’t really use much!

Free: Glass table on casters (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted Circular glass table, 50cm in diameter x 60cm tall. Moves very smoothly on its casters. The top circle/table top is clear glass and the lower circle/shelf is frosted glass. The sticky pads that keep the top on have failed over time - you can either get new ones, glue it, or just do as I have done and be careful not to knock it!

Free: Small touch lamp (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted Quite small (pen for scale), but decently bright as a night light or a small bedside lamp for reading. Perfect for a child’s room, as it can change colour. 3 brightness settings, tap the metal circle on the top to rotate through dim, medium, bright, off. Press and hold the circle to switch on the colour function, and the light will automatically cycle through the RGB spectrum. In this mode, tap once to stop the cycling on a favourite colour, or press and hold to return to normal white light. Requires a USB -> mains plug block, included is the USB-A wire.

Also comes with several butane canisters to refill it. Obviously can be dangerous if not used sensibly, please be careful!

Free: Doors to fit Billy bookcase (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted Glass and wood panelled doors to fit an Ikea Billy bookcase. The bookcase is not included. The doors are brand new in their packaging, we decided in the end we didn’t want to use them. NB: The colour is not on their website, it’s like a grey-brown. See second photo for the matching bookcase.
