THE LIBRARY ATLAS OF THE WORLD (2 Volume Set) Volume 1: United States; Volume 2: Foreign Countries Rand McNally and Company, 1913, 54 x 40cm Royal blue cloth, gilt stamped title to spines and front covers. Prelims to both volumes complete but creased; the binding to Volume 1 damaged with spine present but detached. Maps double-paginated with blank backs. Coloured political maps, monochrome grey land and turquoise water maps of US states in Volume 1 and non-US countries in Volume 2. Lots of accompanying statistical and index text. A massive and fascinating pair of period atlases!

A weekly account of the first world war, 1914-15, in French, with hundreds of illustrations, photographs and maps, many of the illustrations in colour. Loose in weekly parts as shown, the condition is mixed with some tatty edges, but the contents are all very clean. A fascinating and detailed memento of WW1.

A remarkable collection of 270 early colour photographs of Germany, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy, published as a partwork in 1909. Excellent condition, each photograph framed and with a tissue guard. A fascinating memento of a world long gone.

Has loads of pockets, all kinds of sizes, for books, paper, pens, cards... Plus of course a laptop. In good condition as scarcely used. The case is quite heavy so maybe not great for lugging about on a train too much.

This is not 100% OK BUT the base with the motor works -- though the spindle is a bit distorted. It might respond to sanding down. The lid is also a bit chipped so does not function to get the motor started, as it should. But the blades etc are fine. So it is useful for the parts, at least.
