Free: Plaster cast shower protector (Burleigh GL5) This is for a leg/ankle in plaster, allowing you to shower or bath safely. I used it once, successfully, but have now progressed to a removable boot so dont need it any more. Cost me ~£20 [but obv free to you].

Free: Lenovo computer approx 10 years old (Burleigh GL5) Expired Windows 10 computer in full working order, including mouse and keyboard. The set-up works well BUT it won't support Windows 11. Installed software includes Libre Office (free Microsoft Office equivalent). Great for writing essays or your long-delayed novel, though.

Free: Very large two-volume American library atlas from 1913 (Burleigh GL5) Gifted THE LIBRARY ATLAS OF THE WORLD (2 Volume Set) Volume 1: United States; Volume 2: Foreign Countries Rand McNally and Company, 1913, 54 x 40cm Royal blue cloth, gilt stamped title to spines and front covers. Prelims to both volumes complete but creased; the binding to Volume 1 damaged with spine present but detached. Maps double-paginated with blank backs. Coloured political maps, monochrome grey land and turquoise water maps of US states in Volume 1 and non-US countries in Volume 2. Lots of accompanying statistical and index text. A massive and fascinating pair of period atlases!

Free: La Guerre Documenté (Burleigh GL5) Gifted A weekly account of the first world war, 1914-15, in French, with hundreds of illustrations, photographs and maps, many of the illustrations in colour. Loose in weekly parts as shown, the condition is mixed with some tatty edges, but the contents are all very clean. A fascinating and detailed memento of WW1.

Free: Die Welt in Farben (The World in Colour) (Burleigh GL5) Gifted A remarkable collection of 270 early colour photographs of Germany, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy, published as a partwork in 1909. Excellent condition, each photograph framed and with a tissue guard. A fascinating memento of a world long gone.

Free: 1930s theatre make-up box (Burleigh GL5) Gifted The photos tell you all really. I think my Dad used it when doing amateur dramatics in the army, in WWll. [The chap in the wig is NOT him though!]
