Free: Cane furniture cushions (Vale LA1) New and unused. They were intended for new chairs, but never covered. They have been stored in a vacuum bag in our loft for some time but now need to go. They can be covered for use in a cane suite, or the foam can be used for other purposes such as stuffing pillows or toys.

Free: Hotter Shoes (Vale LA1) Withdrawn Brand new brown Hotter size 8EXF shoes. Only worn once (indoors) to check fit, and found more suitable for probably for size 7 feet. They would probably stretch for a better fit over time, but my wife never tried them again.

Free: Chainsaw 12" (Vale LA1) Gifted Brand new 12" battery driven chainsaw with 21V battery, charger and leaflet manual. Used only once for about ten minutes to cut down 3 oversized shrubs with 80mm trunks. I suspect I will get some serious response, so the fair chance policy will be in force

Free: Computer Motherboard (Vale LA1) Expired Dell Optiplex 7040 Motherboard with no CPU or memory. Was working when I pulled it from a working machine due to password lock on the BIOS, preventing me from making any changes. Unfortunately I was unable to remove the password (methods are described on the internet), but maybe that was because of my eyesight deteriorating due to age, and I could not locate the jumper on the motherboard. Update on Monday 11May: I found the jumper, just to the center below the Blue PCIe connector on the photo of the motherboard! Shorting it will clear the CMOS lock.

Free: Electric Heater Instant Hot Water Faucet (Vale LA1) Gifted Brand new, never used, still in box with manual. I intended to it use in my kitchen and bathroom to replace hot water from the boiler, but in our 1930's house the wiring circuits made that impossible. Hopefully someone else would be able to enjoy one or both with my blessings. I will delay making an offer to allow more people to see this offer and have a fair chance.

My family now consist of only two people, so it is surplus to our simple requirements. It may require some cleaning before use, but will simply last forever. Free: Incomplete Steamer Set (Vale LA1) Gifted 22cm Stainless steel steamer set requiring only the use of a 22cm lid to make it complete. If you happen to have such an item this will enable you to prepare healthy cooked selections of vegetables or even complete meals cheaply and easily.

Free: Kenwood Chef Mixer (Vale LA1) Gifted This mixer is far from new, but has never given any problems in all of its extended life. My wife no longer use it as she no longer bakes cakes or anything else that requires it. The machine still works fine, but could well do with a thorough service to grease the gears. It comes with mixing bowl and set of paddles, stirrers, etc If you want to do it yourself there are a number of videos on Youtube that can offer guidance. Parts and accessories such as a liquidizer, crusher, etc are freely available from Kenwood, eBay and other sites on the internet

Free: Grey-beige Shaggy Rug (Vale LA1) Gifted The rug is 160cm x 230cm, and the pile is about 25 mm thick. It is about 8 years old and still in generally good condition, but getting difficult to keep clean for people approaching their 80's, so we decided to gift it to someone who may enjoy it more than we can.

Free: Computer chair mat (Vale LA1) Expired Smooth PVC chair mat suitable for hard floor (wood, vinyl, etc). Size 100cm x 120cm x 2mm thick. In good undamaged condition except as shown in the photo - slight cracks repaired with fibre reinforced tape along long edge, but this does not affect use. The mat is useful to prevent castor damage to floor or chair.

Free: Carpet Protector Mat (Vale LA1) Expired A good condition remnant of a larger mat after I cut off the damaged part. Size is75c x134cm x2.5mm thick, with 2mm spikes to prevent the mat from moving around. There are still few cracks remaining but it will not interfere or hinder normal usage. The completely undamaged portion is about 100cm long. The photo is not of the item on offer, but of similar ones found on the internet.

Replacement bulbs are freely available from various sources such as eBay and Amazon, but it would be a shame to bin it for the lack of a bulb.
