Writing bureau with fold down flap. Inside there are various compartments and drawers. Underneath there are 3 drawers. Unfortunately I can't find the key for the top but I will keep looking. It is quite heavy but the drawers and bits of the top are removeable . Very well made (German) and in vey good condition
