Hoover (Cockermouth CA13)
Greetings. I need a hoover/vacuum cleaner. Type not particularly important as long as it'snot too heavy! I'm in Cockermouth but can pick up from anywhere not to far away. Many thanks.

This is a Bell & Howell 625H projector. It's a basic 8mm model, no sound, no fancy functions, just light and movement. It has, of course, got a problem! For reasons I've been unable to find, the motor runs when it feels like it; sometimes it goes quite happily, sometimes it will stick and needs to be given a nudge, after which it will go as it should. Other than that, it's ok. It comes with a spare spool. It's in Tilgate near the community centre.

This is a Bell & Howell model 652 QRB (also a Filmosound TQ1 - I think that's the mechanism designation). It was bought some years ago as a restoration project that never happened. It seems to be in good basic condition, things that are supposed to move do, and things that aren't don't, when the motor is turned by hand, Further testing, however, isn't possible as the mains connector has been removed and the wiring seems to have been got at (not by me). The lamp appears intact, and the amplifier, which is solid state, also seems unsullied. I'll include a CD with some manuals and circuits that I got from the internet - not all of them apply to this model, but should be useful. Note this is quite heavy (about 20kg). In Tilgate near the community centre.

This is an Aiwa radio/CD/cassette. It has a 3-band radio (LW/MW/VHF) and twin cassette with dubbing facility and a CD player. The radio and both cassette decks are working but the CD player isn't. It comes with remote control. It runs off the mains or takes eight D-size (HP2) batteries. In Cockermouth near Gable Avenue.
