Excellent for back-ups of data, and as it's on your keyring it goes with you, so it's a good level of safety over say, fires. Looks beat up but this happens quickly to these (I upgraded to 64Gb to do my photos too, and it's already like this). Still works fine. Formatted FAT32, but you could format encrypted or whatever you like.
