Dining chairs for upcycling (Bow E3)
4 wooden chairs with arms. Foam seat and backrest with dark green fabric. Foam has gone hard, fabric is damaged on one seat, backrest wood has split on another chair. Happy to split them if you don't want all four. Collection by arrangement from a church building in Grove Road.

Dumb phone for elderly friend (Poplar E14)

Need a basic phone for an elderly friend switching from landline to mobile. He does not use any tech, and a smart phone would be too confusing. He's been trying this Nokia 105 which I got him based on online recommendations, and he understands how to use it. However, the buttons are too sensitive, especially the square menu button, and it often shoots ahead two or more steps at a time, which confuses him. A reliable old Nokia with a similar keypad to the above might be easiest for him to get used to. He only wants to make and receive calls. These old phones only use 2G, but that's fine.

Clean white dining chairs. Strong steel frames, comfortable padded seat, vinyl zipped sleeves on arms. One is in very good condition, but one has some wear on the back as shown in photo. In Poplar, E14, near Langdon Park DLR station. Rather heavy, so you will either need a car, or to sit down on the way if carrying them to the station!

Looking for about 16 feet (5 metres) of old garden hose or similar plastic tube. This is to make covers for the feet of camp beds used in a night shelter, in order to protect the floor. I had 20 feet of old plastic garden hose that had gone rigid, but after warming up a 3-inch piece I was able (with some effort) to push it into position, and it looks as if it will stay put just fine! Still need about 16 feet more to do all the beds. Other suggestions for better ways to do it will also be welcome! š
