Free: Yarn (Findern CP DE23) I’m having a clear-out of my crafting stash. The first group is mostly DK, mostly acrylic. Some unused balls and some partially used, in a range of colours. Free: Large wooden planter (needs repair) (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a wooden planter around 36x20 inches and around 30 inches high. The basic structure is intact but the inside shelf pieces are meant to be supported by narrow ridge pieces but as you can see from one of the photos, one has come off. I haven’t got the skill to fix it, but all the pieces are there for someone who does. The wood has been treated so not suitable for burning, but it was last treated a long time ago so it does need some TLC by now. This needs to be gone by next weekend or it’s going to the tip. Free: Cross-stitch kit (Findern CP DE23) This is a cross-stitch kit as shown in the photo, very nice design. It includes the fabric, needle, and full instructions but does *not* include the thread. I bought it at a charity shop and didn’t realise the thread was missing. However, the instructions list the DMC numbers so you will be able to purchase the correct colours. I would say this is only suitable for experienced stitchers with good eyes as the fabric is a very fine linen. It’s 35 count. Free: Incense (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a set of incense sticks with a holder (see photo for description of the scent). The box originally held 20 sticks but one has been used. Free: Birdseed Container (Findern CP DE23) Expired This is a large metal bucket with a clipped lid to hold birdseed. It’s 55 cm (around 22 inches) high. It’s been kept outside in all weathers so it could do with a good clean and has some rust spots, but otherwise perfectly usable. It’s rodent-proof but in very bad weather a little water can get in sometimes. Therefore I don’t recommend putting loose seed in it because the slightest amount of moisture can ruin all the seed. (I found that out the hard way and kept the seed in its bags from then on.) For collection from Heatherton (Littleover) any time - I can leave it out for safe collection if I’m not going to be in. , I will wait at least 24 hours before deciding.

Free: Dehumidifier (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a very small dehumidifier, it holds less than a litre of water. It’s only been used a couple of times. Still in box and with instruction booklet. I’m not sure how well it works, it didn’t gather much moisture when I used it but I don’t have a major damp problem and it’s possible it was too small to use in a large room. Free: Vacuum pack storage bags (Findern CP DE23) Expired I have three storage bags, the kind you suck the air out of with a hoover for compact storage. One is approximately 45x32 inches and there are two smaller ones around 32x21 inches. I haven’t used them in a long time, but when I did, the two smaller ones worked perfectly. Free: Wheelie bin numbers (Findern CP DE23) Expired I misread the description when ordering number stickers for my bins. I thought I was getting a full set of numbers but it’s only three each of the 1 and 2. I’ve ordered a replacement with the correct numbers, but Amazon don’t need me to return the others. Free: Christmas storage bags (Findern CP DE23) Gifted I have three sturdy storage bags with handles, approximately 18x14x10 inches. They’re meant for Christmas storage but obviously can be used for anything you want. In excellent condition except that they have been marked with a sharpie with numbers 1, 2, and 3. Free: Suitcase (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a large American Tourister suitcase with two wheels. It has a broken zip on the outermost pocket and I had to cut through the lining to access it from the inside, but otherwise in good condition. Might be good for storage even if it can’t be repaired. It’s approximately 25 inches tall, 18 wide and 11 deep with the ability to expand. For collection from Heatherton (Littleover). Polite emails only, .

Free: Christmas ribbons & tags (Findern CP DE23) Gifted Surplus to requirements. Ribbons, bows (unused so they still have the adhesive stickers), gift tags. Mostly gold, some red and silver. Free: Binoculars (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a pair of binoculars I got as a free gift when joining the National Trust a few years ago. Free: SD card/lightning reader (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a connector to link an SD card to an Apple device that has the lightning port. It allows you to transfer photos etc. from your camera to your iPad or iPhone. Please note this is not a USB, it’s lightning only. It worked fine last time I used it which I admit was a long time ago. It’s a genuine Apple product. I don’t have the instructions any more but it’s pretty straightforward and can be Googled easily. Free: Packing materials (Findern CP DE23) Gifted Packing materials, handy for moving? There’s not much but it seems a shame just to put it in the recycling. There’s one box, about a foot square, some brown paper, and several sheets of honeycomb wrapping - see photo if you don’t know what that is, I had to Google because I didn’t know what it was called! Collect from Heatherton (Littleover) almost any time. I can put it in a bag for safe collection if needed.

Free: Crabapples (Findern CP DE23) Expired A few weeks ago, someone posted that they had a surplus of crabapples. If you missed out with that offer, I also have a tree that is full of fruit. They look very red and ripe. I’ll be leaving the highest branches for the birds but there’s still plenty. You can come and pick them off the tree or I can bag some up, whichever works for you. I’m in Heatherton (Littleover) and am available most days.

Free: Wall Lights (Findern CP DE23) Gifted This is a pair of wall lights with an antique brass finish. Working fine, excellent condition, I just went for a different style. Bulbs included (possibly a couple of spares as well), as my replacement lights take a different kind of bulb. I no longer have the installation instructions, but I used an electrician anyway. Collection from Heatherton (Littleover) within the next few days please. Free: Jam-making accessories (Findern CP DE23) Gifted As shown in photo - funnel for pouring jam into jars, tongs to lift jars from boiling water, long scraper/spoon. Also (not pictured) is an extendable magnet to lift the sterilised seals onto the jars without touching them. Ideally to go together, but if you only want one specific item I will consider splitting.
