Free: Peugeot 206 SW XSi (Denham UB9) AN UNUSUAL GIVEAWAY FOR FREEGLE but it is my car: • Peugeot 206 SW XSi • 1587cc • Black • Registered October 2002 • Mileage 133,049 It has been in the family for 20 years. As you can see it has been well loved and well looked after and, in return, has looked after us well. However, at the beginning of February the clutch went and, although the cost is not the issue, it is an old car now and I feel the time has come to drive something newer. So, I have decided to give it away. As seen. Apart from the clutch it is in very good condition – full service history is available. I even have the diagnosis from Halfords outlining the issue. Although the car will start, you are unable to engage the gears. So, if you want it, you will need to bring a low loader to take away. You are welcome to come and take a look - I can also show you full registration paperwork to confirm proof of ownership. If you love messing about with cars – or are a Peugeot fanatic – this car may be for you. I do hope someone might be interested and will be able to give this much-loved car a good home in its retirement.

Free: Hallowe’en Fairy Lights (Denham UB9) Expired THESE CAUGHT MY EYE AT MY LOCAL CO-OP LAST YEAR And since then - for some reason – have remained in their box ever since. I came across them tonight - completely forgotten - and realise I have since upgraded to another set. So these are now redundant – and yours if you want them. New and unused. Require two AA batteries. Will no doubt bring a smile to the child in your life this Hallowe’en.

Free: Pet Food Mat (Denham UB9) Expired Treat your pet to a luxury dining experience with this quality pet food mat, made by the people at “Mighty Paws”. This is definitely an up-market eating experience for your loved-one. The upper surface is a soft-textured nylon pile in a discreet green dotted pattern, complete with cheeky paw print in the corner. And thoughtfully finished with a non-slip latex underside, preventing your pet licking their bowl all over the kitchen floor in their excitement. Bought at Wilko as a mat for my laptop, but was not really suitable. Suitable for cats and dogs. And any other medium-sized animal. New and unused, it’s yours if you want it.

Free: Boys’ Books (Denham UB9) Expired Two aero- and comic-books for the young-at-heart reader with a yen for ‘planes: They Flew to Fame. Nine stories about heroes and heroines of the air. Published 1963 Tornado Annual 1980. Adventure tales told comic-book fashion. Published 1979 Now no longer read, but there are plenty of thrills and spills still to be had from these pages. Fair condition.

Free: Skipping Rope (Denham UB9) Gifted “Body Sculpture” skipping rope Purchased from Tesco one January in a fit of exercise enthusiasm, this skipping rope’s life was short-lived. A combination of, I could never get the hang of it, and it was too long for me, meant I switched to more suitable exercise – mainly cycling. So, since then, it has resided in its box, unused. Nine feet in length with very comfty moulded plastic hand grips as new. I’m told skipping is a great way to exercise if you can get the hang of it. Good luck.

Free: Wellington Boots (Denham UB9) Gifted Full-length rubber Wellington Boots. Green. These have been my faithful country companions for many years, but in more recent years have resided in the boot of my car and are now little-used. However, still in tip-top condition, with fabulous robust soles with a great grip. Perfect for that afternoon in the garden or not-too-long cross-country walk. Size 8. With a capacious single inner space – with elasticated straps to secure clothes in place – this well-appointed suitcase also features two internal pockets for smaller pieces of clothing and, conveniently, a – full-length – external pocket for larger items. Measuring 44cm x 58cm, with fully retractable handle and four external wheels, this roomy and robust piece of luggage has many airmiles left in it. Due to downsizing no longer needed.

Free: Step stool (Denham UB9) Gifted This clever device was my Mum’s and her cleaner blessed her for it every time she came to clean – allowing her to reach the top of windows and the back of shelves. And when it wasn’t in use, it cleverly folded down flat out of the way at the back of the wardrobe. Small, stable and remarkably sturdy, I realise it has, sadly, been unused for a number of years and likely to remain so. There are many more years left in this useful household buddy. Measuring 29cm x 22cm x 17cm high when open, and 36cm x 32cm x 5cm when folded. Yours if you want it.

Free: Lavazza Coffee Pot (Denham UB9) Gifted A special offer from the nice people at Lavazza, this beautiful coffee pot provided me and my friends with many smiles – and cups of coffee – at breakfast for a number of years. However, that was another chapter, and I realise it has been unused at the back of my kitchen cupboard and is now likely to remain so – partly because, as attractive as it is, it is not huge and only makes two small expresso cups. I like a big cuppa in the mornings. However, there are many more breakfasts, lunches and dinners left in this lovely piece. I am sure it will make you and your friends smile too. Measuring 13cm wide x 17cm high, this delightful piece is yours if you want it.

Free: Linea wool scarf (Denham UB9) Gifted Pure wool scarf from the House of Fraser “Linea” brand. Designed in shades of green stripes and finished with a red band along either side, it is finished with a 4cm fringe. Measures 144cm x 30cm. In excellent condition, this soft, long, and attractive scarf guarantees you warm days – and nights – for years to come.

Free: Bernat Klein wool scarf (Denham UB9) Gifted Pure wool scarf, designed by the eminent textile designer Bernat Klein. Designed in a demure light brown check pattern, this attractive scarf is finished with a discreet 1 1⁄2 cm fringe. Measuring 120cm x 44cm This beautifully soft scarf kept my neck cosy for many of my younger years. Recently rediscovered in the bottom of a drawer, I realise my neck now turns to other things to stay warm. Still in good shape, it will keep your neck warm – and looking good – for some years yet.

Free: Heavy Duty Rubber-coated Work Gloves. Little used. (Denham UB9) Gifted Heavy duty rubber-coated work gloves. Issued to me many years ago when I joined a voluntary scheme. However they were little used and have remained – unused – in my cupboard in the years since. They are unlikely to see service in this household again now but it is a shame to let a good pair of work gloves go to waste. They’re yours if you want them.

Free: Helly Hanson Walking Jacket (Denham UB9) Gifted Helly Hanson Walking Jacket Made by the trusty firm of Helly Hanson, this light and comfortable jacket has kept me warm and safe through many adventures, from the Lake District to the snows of Switzerland. Now, sadly showing its age - the proofing around the hood in particular is starting to go. However, still in good order, this well-made jacket – in Helly Hanson’s “Helly-Tech 5” breathable waterproof material with a mesh lining - has been well looked after and should keep you dry for a light shower or short walk. But not a day’s yomp through the fells. In eye-catching red, complete with an integrated hood, under-arm zips for added comfort, zipped inner security pocket, and waterproofed external pockets. Attractively finished with embroidered Helly Hanson motifs on chest and sleeve. Packs up surprisingly small into your daysack for that day out. Comes with its own drawstring travel pouch. Your guess is as good as mine Material: polyester but finished with very soft, “Draylon”-feel, knap. Measuring: 40cm x 40cm New and unused. Recently surfaced in a house move and not needed. These comfortable covers would work on any sofa or armchair.

If there is such a thing as a luxury version of a windscreen scraper this is it - complete with a scraper for snow and ice, a rubber strip for water, and sponge for condensation inside the car. Resurfaced after the recent clear-out of a family home. Hardly used. As new. It is not needed and is yours if you want it.

Free: Bicycle Bell (Denham UB9) Expired Bicycle bell A traditional bicycle bell. My current bike came with a bell so this is no longer needed. From what I remember, it was wasn’t on my previous bike for long and has been lying forgotten in my bike box of tricks for some years. Still in tip-top form, it’s yours if you want it.

Free: Chrome shelving unit (Denham UB9) Gifted Chrome shelving unit. Measuring 115cm (h) x 37cm (w) x 34cm (d), this neat metal storage unit is finished in smart chrome. With four shelves, this useful unit has served me well for many years for my towels and all my other bathroom bits and bobs. But having now moved, this good friend is sadly no longer needed where I am now. However, still in great shape, it will serve you well for many years as well. Probably best not used outside. I suspect the chrome finish might not do well in the rain.

Free: Cycle cover (Denham UB9) Gifted Cycle cover Bought to cover my bike when it was parked outside here at home. It did a great job, but I can now park my bike under cover so is no longer needed. With an elasticated bottom, this cover fits snugly over your bike. Complete with clip fastening to secure in place under the rear wheel, and large eyelet holes at the front to take a substantial lock. Folds away neatly into its own bag, so you can take it with you on your travels and discreetly cover-up your bike where you’re going too. It’s yours if you want it.
