Free: Small National Trust Bag (Denham UB9) Small National Trust Bag I BOUGHT THIS LOVELY BAG FOR MY MOTHER’S BIRTHDAY. SADLY IT DIDN’T GET MUCH USE. But in its short life she loved it for carrying around her bits and bobs when she was out-and-about. Sadly it is no longer needed. Attractively designed in National Trust oak leaf-inspired pattern, it is mushroom in colour and finished with a smart National Trust tag. Measuring 20cm x 20cm x 16cm, this small and tidy bag with sturdy and comfortable grab handles is surprisingly capacious. Made of recycled material - including plastic bottles! Hardly used. As new. Free: Cotton patchwork bag (Denham UB9) Cotton patchwork bag THIS LOVELY PATCHWORK BAG WAS MADE BY MY CLEVER MUM FOR HER KNITTING. But she always had a number of knitting bags on the go, so this was not really used very much and is now, sadly, no longer needed. Beautifully lined, and with wooden hoop handles - cleverly bound in string - this stylish and comfortable bag is good for your knitting, crafts, or just a groovy, everyday out-and-about bag. Free: Nepalese shoulder bag (Denham UB9) Nepalese shoulder bag Bought by my indomitable mother on one of our numerous overseas adventures, this bag became a popular choice for holidays - but for most of the time remained unused at the bottom of her drawer. Made by a womens’ collective in Pokhara, Nepal, this handwoven cotton bag is soft and lightweight, but, with a strong and broad shoulder strap, is surprisingly robust. Thoughtfully made with secure zip top and small purse attached inside. Cream in colour. Measuring 30cm x 28cm, this comfortable but sturdy bag is big enough for all your daily needs, whether on hols or just out-and-about here at home. Washed and ready for its next adventure. Free: Lulu Guinness raffia basket bag (Denham UB9) Lulu Guinness raffia basket bag THIS LOVELY STYLISH BAG, BY ACCLAIMED DESIGNER LULU GUINNESS, WAS ONE OF MY MOTHER’S GO-TO EVERYDAY BAGS. Big enough for her knitting, her Telegraph, and even the occasional pint of milk and coffee from Waitrose. Attractively made in raffia – lavender in colour – and beautifully finished off with a cotton, floral lining and inner tuck pocket. Measures 33cm x 26cm x 11cm. Free: Family sheep (Denham UB9) Gifted Family sheep needs new home COMMISSIONED BY MY MOTHER and made by her very clever seamstress, this sheep quietly grazed in the corner of our lounge, sharing our TV viewing and other family moments, for some years. Beautifully made - with a suede body, face and horns and white wool fleece, even a cheeky plaited tail - our family sheep has been well looked after but, due to downsizing, sadly now needs a new home. Equally at home in the living room or bedroom. Unobtrusive and well-behaved, our sheep is completely house-trained and will not leave droppings anywhere. Good with adults and children - but not really suitable for very young children or babies. And like all animals, she needs to be treated with care and is not for playful handling. Measures (approx) 40cm nose to tail, 23cm across her girth and 17cm from horns to ground. Still in first-class condition, this family sheep is guaranteed to be a good companion for many years yet.
