My lovely Brother sewing machines timing is out ! Following sewing a pair of jeans the timing is off and now the top thread can't be picked up by the bottom. IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED FIRST ...I took it to the repair sewing shop in Bath and they have said that the timing can be sorted but that the machine would only be suitable to be used for light sewing eg.normal thickness of material- NO denim,suede etc . as it could through the timing off again. So it's time to pass on ! THIS MACHINE NEEDS THE TIMING SORTING SO DOES NOT WORK The machine is old but otherwise has served me well. From smoke free home.
