Robust Padding for Large Glass Jars (Pilton EH4) These amazingly strong, air-cushioned cozies for glass jars are a must-have for any outing. They came with 1 kg glass jars of tahini in them, and they are really too good to throw away. Okay so they're plastic - not good for the environment - but help keep them out of the environment by holding on to one or more for life. I can't bear to recycle them (which is never 100% beneficial for the environment), so have loads of them and more coming every time we buy more tahini online. Could let go of one or two of the jars that fit snugly in them, if wanted.

Bicycle Lock (Special Opening Technique Required) (Pilton EH4) Gifted It's quite easy once you get the knack of it, but you mustn't forget the special technique required to open it or you will be wrestling with it and getting frustrated at how it appears to randomly jam and then suddenly open for no apparent reason. BUT THERE IS A REASON and it's totally logical and reliable when you understand it. THE TECHNIQUE is to turn the key all the way round, and then - crucially - bring it back a tiny bit. That will release the mechanism and it will open flawlessly, time after time.

Unopened Peanut Butter BB July 2027 (Pilton EH4) Gifted Every company makes a different tasting peanut butter. This one doesn't suit me. Shame to throw it away. A couple of opened ones you can have too if you want.

Smart Watch/Fitness Tracker (Pilton EH4) Gifted New and unused. Giving this away because it is more fiddly to operate than my other one, and the Bluetooth radiation won't stop when you shut it down. It is extremely touch-sensitive so you only have to stroke it lightly - there's knack to it, I suppose - but that makes it irritating to me. I particularly dislike that you can't shut off the Bluetooth, which is a health hazard - but if you don't mind that, fine. The photo is from the eBay listing where I bought it.

Fridge-freezer (Pilton EH4) Gifted In perfect working order. It is the type that does need de-frosting every few months. You also need to check that the drainage hole in the upper compartment at the back remains open and ice-free. It does have dents and blemishes but it does function well. The freezer trays have been repaired and now work as good as new.

Bamboo Venetian Blind (Pilton EH4) Gifted Works perfectly - twiddling a pole opens or closes the slats. A few inches at the end of three of the slats are broken off, but I still have the pieces so it can be fixed. Approximately 1 metre x 1 metre [to be precise, 3 mm more than 1 m wide; and 98 cm high]

Old natural-filled mattress - tall person (Pilton EH4) Expired A once high-end mattress, this is now over 20 years old. Inside, I'm not sure what it is but as far as I know it's natural. Website says latex. Cover unzips and comes off for washing, but no amount of washing is going to return it to pristine condition, I'm afraid. Extra-long at 6 ft 10 inches, or 2 metres 7 cm, would suit tall person. Width is 3 ft 3 inches, or 1 metre. Website: Make: Hamas (Dutch, I think).

Vintage Ceramic Bed Warmer (ornament) (Pilton EH4) Gifted Between the screw top and the body, there used to be a leather seal. This has long since perished. Unless you can find or craft a replacement seal, this will not hold water and can only be used as an ornament. I've got one or two more of these but can't currently find them.

Mortice Lock 🔒 (Pilton EH4) Gifted Mortice lock for front door. Unfortunately, no British Kite Mark, so unsuitable for houses 🏡 or flats but fine for sheds. Insurance companies require the kind that have the British Kite Mark, as I understand it. That is why I removed this one, which works perfectly. Only one key.
