Request: Wood (Bilton Road CV22) Expired Good quality wood (sorry, no old fence panels) required for Men in Sheds, based by Rugby Eco Hub (formerly the Claremont centre). Could be pieces left over from a building job or old decking. We would also welcome any hard woods. Can be collected if in the Rugby area or can be dropped off at Men in Sheds on a Monday between 10-3 or Ladies in Sheds Wednesday. 10-3. Many thanks in advance.

Free: Crab apples (Bilton Road CV22) Expired Have crab apples if anyone is interested in making crab apple jelly. They’re a bit scabby but should be ok. The bag in the photo is about 1kg of apples.

Request: Scaffold board (Bilton Road CV22) Expired Has anyone got a scaffold plank they no longer need please? I would like to add a shelf over my potting table. Doesn’t have to be a full length plank but minimum of 4’ would be required. TIA.

Free: Grids for holding gravel, etc (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted I have 68 used grids for keeping gravel from spreading. They’re 40cmx60cm and I understand they interlock. Preference given to who can take all of them.

Free: Curtain lining, etc., offcuts (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted A quantity of offcuts of curtain lining, black out lining and pieces of other assorted cream and white fabric.

Free: Christmas Cactus (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted This was gifted to me as two 40 year old plants a few years ago which have been potted in the same pot. The flowers are a deep pink. I’ve run out of space for it - anyone willing to give it a good home please?

Free: Crocosmia (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted I have lots of crocosmia bulbs (see photo with pots of the bulbs - mostly in clumps). The other photo is to illustrate what they’re like in summer.

Free: Paint (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted Two tins of paint. The black lines indicate roughly what’s left.

Free: White waterlily (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted I have a small garden pond and a large white waterlily which has taken over. I want to clean the pond out as it’s silted up over the years. The water lily is free to whoever can help me remove it from the pond, obviously at a time to suit us both. A large container will be needed to transport it. Thanks.

Request: Timber for Men in Sheds (Bilton Road CV22) Expired Men in Sheds has started up again. It’s based in what was the Claremont centre and now an Age Uk office, on the corner of Bath Street and Clifton Road. They need wood, so if you’re clearing out sheds/garages and you have any kind of timber, big or small, it would be appreciated if you could drop it in to Men in Sheds. Unfortunately they’re unable to collect. It’s open on Wednesdays between 10am and 3pm - ask for Chris, who can also tell you more about what they do if you’re interested in taking up woodwork. It’s the second entrance to Age Uk, on the right in Bath Street as you come Clifton Road. Many thanks in anticipation.

Free: Large bin bag of fabric remnants (Bilton Road CV22) Gifted I have a large bin bag of mainly cotton fabric remnants. There are some largish pieces of 1 metre or so but most are remnants from sewing children’s clothes. Would suit someone interested in patchwork or making dolls’ clothes, perhaps.
