Free: Bamboo Canes (DA1) Gifted Whole load of garden grown bamboo canes. Some really long, others shorter. Might be useful for someone’s allotment or garden. Take what you want, what’s left after being offered for a few days will end up at the tip. Hope they can help some gardeners out.

Free: Beautiful early 20th C display cabinet (DA1) Expired We have this lovely display cabinet in our home that originally belonged to my Grandfather, so early 20th century, probably from Newcastle way back then. It has moved several times in its life, and has survived pretty much unscathed apart from a small loss to the very top along the side where it got damaged at some point in its history being moved. It comes in two sections, the main part sits on the legs. The decoration veneer seems not to have deteriorated over the years fortunately, but there are a couple of historic brown marks on the interior backing fabric. It measures in total 40cm deep, almost 2m high, 1m30cm wide. All the locks work (with keys). I need it gone by next Tuesday latest, else it goes to the tip. Will need probably 3 people to move it safely and a van or big estate to transport it.

Free: Carpet edge gripper 2x 4 ft approx (DA1) Expired Left over and kept in the plastic in the shed. Unused. Is it of any use to anyone?

Free: Assorted Bamboo Canes (DA1) Expired I cut down some bamboo in the garden and thought it might be useful to someone with an allotment or garden who grows beans or similar. Free: Size 9 Men’s Wellies (DA1) Expired Wellies size 9, green hardly worn. Request: Bicycle Wheels, Kids Size 16-17” (DA1) Expired Hi. I would be most grateful for some bicycle wheels 16-17” approx diameter (so kids bike). I don’t need tyres, just the wheels. I had some that came from our grandson’s old bike but my OH got rid of them earlier this year (darn it!). I use them to put over the garden planters to keep the pesky foxes from digging up my bulbs. Free: Plastic icing set (DA1) Expired A small box with various nozzles, tube, icing bag and a few fine metal icing nozzles as well. Just not needed any more. Hardly used. Just having a clear out.

Free: Mixed bag of baking accessories (DA1) Gifted A collection of unused “biscuit” bags and ribbons, as well as some tags for jams/chutneys and a couple of age candles (been lit but hardly show signs of use. Also an unopened bag of Gemz Tylo powder (GUM TRAGACANTH TRAG substitute 50g) from cupcake world and a teapot shaped cookie cutter. Just not used and needs a new home.

Free: Box of mixed cookie cutters (DA1) Gifted A box of hardly used 4 heart shaped, one butterfly and one that I think is an Easter bunny cookie cutters in cap various sizes. Ideal for Valentine’s Day or decorating cakes etc. Just needing a clear out.

Free: Salvia “hot lips” in pot (DA1) Gifted I think this is one i grew from a cutting. It’s about 2ft x 2ft but could do with a good trim. Hot Lips flowers go red in the summer months when a certain temperature is hit. Probably needs to go in the ground, quite vigorous.

Request: Working under counter size freezer (DA1) Expired Hi all! Would really like a working under counter size freezer for our garage for the kitchen overflow/storage. Free: Good Quality Garden Earth In Bags (DA1) Gifted Been re-designing the garden (only a small bit) but the amount of earth from an old flower bed seems way more than it looked. It’s good quality earth, so perfect for someone with a new build or rejuvenating an old bit of garden.
