Free: Small aspidistra plant (Caldecott OX14) Only a small plant but these two leaves are part of an aspidistra that I was given many years ago. A very old-fashioned plant, aspidistras are known as the 'cast-iron' plant as they are very hard to kill off. The Victorians liked them. Does anyone have a corner for this one? To give an idea of the size - it is in a 12cm high pot.

Free: Mint Pot (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Recently split up some of the growth from a patch of mint. This should develop further although best kept contained in a pot or it is likely to spread widely.

Free: Ceramic beans for pastry baking (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn These have been unused for a number of years. Clean. The pot says they are washable, hygenic and 'virtually indestructible'.

Free: World Atlas (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn Large and heavy - about 25cm x 38cm. Edition some 45 years old but not much will have altered. Generally remains in very good condition.

Free: Cooking spatulas (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Strong heatproof plastic. Perhaps of use for outdoor cooking? Just found stored in the loft, acquired by my husband when he lived in Switzerland - freebies for frying potato rosti. All unused and in excellent condition.

Free: Old and rusty horseshoe! (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn Does anyone want this old horseshoe before it goes into a metal skip? Found in a field a few years ago. I was going to use it as a garden ornament but never got around to finding a place for it.

Free: Plastic pots and trays (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Perhaps of use to someone for seed-sowing or potting up. About a dozen 6-section trays, plus a variety of individual pots. All have been well rinsed although they can't be as clean as unused ones.

Free: Bird feeder (Caldecott OX14) Gifted About 30cm high. Squirrel proof. Metal frame. Has been stored for some years. Cleaned before storage but very slight residue of previous bird feed remains in the main tube. Otherwise sound and in good condition.

Free: Oak sapling (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn This has been in our garden for some time - result of a stray acorn years ago. About 1m90cm tall now and it has to be removed, either to a new home or to the garden waste bin. If anyone is interested, we will do our best to dig it out, although we can't be sure we can get all the roots. Assistance would be useful!

Free: Hooked basket (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn 50cm long. Believed to have been used only once, so in excellent condition. Lightweight construction and I can't make out exactly what material was used to make the 'basket' effect. Collection from Saturday 14 Feb. when hopefully the traffic on the Drayton Road will have returned to normal.

Free: Net curtains (Caldecott OX14) Withdrawn Ikea curtains, pack of 2, each 145cm (wide) x 300cm (drop). Bought some time ago from a charity shop, appear not to have been taken out of the packaging. And not used by me. Polyester material with a floral pattern and scalloped edging. Have a pocket at top for a curtain rod.

Free: Mistletoe berries (Caldecott OX14) Expired Would anyone like these berried cuttings to see if mistletoe can be started on one of your trees? Berries can be rubbed onto the bark, just like the birds wiping their beaks after eating a berry. It likes apple trees but can take to many other types.

Free: Neal's Yard Warming Salve (Caldecott OX14) Expired This has been opened and a tiny scoop taken from the top. Claims it 'eases and comforts, with organic ginger and rosemary'. I found that I did not like it. Not an unwanted Christmas present, I have had it for a while. It has a 'use-by' date of 3/26.

Free: Knee-highs (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Eight or nine pairs of M&S knee-highs. Some lightweight, others 'light support' knee highs. Variety of colours. I can't guarantee that all have never been put on, but to the best of my knowledge, they have not.

Free: Tradescantia houseplant (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Is anyone interested in this very abundant tradescantia before I take it apart as cuttings for new plants? If interested, best either collected today or 26/12 onwards - it isn't something that I can leave outside for collection.

Free: Rapeseed oil (Caldecott OX14) Expired 500ml rapeseed oil, bottle unopened. The label has a best before date of July 2023, but the colour looks OK. It has been in my larder for 2 or 3 years and I haven't found a use for it. Unlikely I will find a use now. Does anyone want this before it goes in the waste bin?

Free: Tradescantia (Caldecott OX14) Expired I promised myself that I wouldn't plant up any more tradescantias, but have failed. Does anyone want this one? It is in a 8cm pot to give an idea of the size.

Free: Vintage coal shovel (Caldecott OX14) Gifted This would have been used with a coal scuttle. Length overall about 33cm, width of blade about 12cm. In reasonable condition considering its age - probably around 1920ish. Looks as if it originally had a coating of black paint on the blade, which has almost all disappeared now.

Free: Cut lavender (Caldecott OX14) Gifted Lavender prunings, very fragrant. Of any interest to anybody before I put these in the brown bin? Collection over the weekend would be best.
