I am enjoying watching my DVDs and VHS videos, but my Panasonic player has suddenly stopped playing video cassettes. I hope a Freegler has one lying around somewhere.

Vintage TV and DVD/CD player (Higham Hill E17)

Samsung. The VCR drive failed, and I am having difficulty playing a DVD on it, though it worked fine not long ago. 16" screen diagonally. Someone who likes tinkering with older electronics might get it to work well. It's big, deep and heavy (cathode ray tube?)

Magnifier for sewing (Higham Hill E17)
Gifted
You sit with your sewing, mending, needlework and, by looking at it through the glass it is well magnified. So useful if your close sight is deteriorating. It can straighten up to store behind a curtain or somewhere. It needs batteries for the light and I am not sure if that still works, but it's not essential.
