Free: Boots 1.5L water filter jug (Lansdown) Expired Uses round ("classic") water filters, which can be bought at Boots branches or Boots/Ebay/Amazon online, not the square Brita filters. We used two of these jugs when my mum lived here but now I only need one, hence this Freegle ad.

Once applied, it needs to be covered in (initially damp) hessian for a couple of weeks to cure. It has a shelf life of 12 months which means that its use by date is end of March 2026. Free: Bitumen 1F slater's felt, around 12m, recent (Lansdown) Gifted A roll of traditional Chesterfelt 1F slater's felt, bought a few weeks ago because I needed a small amount to line a bat roost in a roof. 1m wide. It was a 15m roll, should be around 12m left. This felt is designed to be used under slates or tiles where there's either no insulation underneath or there's at least an air gap, for example in the tiled roof of an unheated outbuilding. It's not designed to be exposed to the elements like shed felt. Heavy, probably 20kg.

Free: 1F felt for use under slates/tiles, 15m x 1m (Lansdown) Gifted An unused, recently purchased 15m x 1m roll of non-bituminous 1F slater's felt (Cromar Protect). Very lightweight, like a roll of wallpaper. Non-breathable, so it's suitable for use where air can circulate underneath it, for example in an unheated outbuilding or other environment where insulation is either not required or is installed with an air gap.

Free: Green IKO shed roofing felt (Lansdown) Gifted Approx 3.8m x 1m and 2m x 0.6m. Enough to roof a lean-to shed, a small apex shed, or for animal houses. I bought this in the last few days and just used enough to reroof my garden shed. Weight is maybe 10kg. I can provide a large bin bag as packaging, if it would help.

Free: Optibac probiotics (Lansdown) Gifted Optibac Every Day: one new sealed box of 30 doses and one opened jar with 29 doses remaining. Bought about 2 weeks ago and the opened jar was opened about 10 days ago. The reason they are no longer required is that it turns out I happen to have a sensitivity to one of the probiotic bacteria in this particular formulation.

Free: Breathable exterior lime-based paint, cream, 1L (Lansdown) Gifted This is a 1L can of breathable exterior lime-based paint, suitable for painting concrete, brick etc. The colour is "straw" which the colour chart shows as a pale reddish yellow (was hoping to match to Bath stone) but it's actually a cream colour like a pale vanilla ice cream; you can see a sample above the can in the photo. The can is new and I've used a tiny bit of it, so you're getting almost a full can. More details here:

Free: Basic camera drone (Lansdown) Gifted This is a very basic camera drone, perhaps suitable for learning or practice. It comes with two spare batteries, USB charging cable, spare propeller blades, instruction manual and carry case. It uses WiFi Direct so the range is limited to WiFi range. The camera is very low resolution and it needs a phone app for the camera function. The controller needs 3x AA batteries. If you use a VPN on your phone, ensure that it is disabled when using the drone. The drone was bought about 6 months ago and has had light indoor use only. I found it a bit unstable but perhaps somebody more skilled or with more leisure time could get good results from it. Drones are not really suitable as children's toys; the instruction manual suggests age 14+.

Free: Holystone HS280 camera drone (Lansdown) Gifted Drone was bought about 6 months ago and has had light use, mostly indoors(!). Comes with spare battery, USB charger, replacement propeller blades, instruction manual. I find it a bit unstable but perhaps somebody with more skill or more leisure time than me could get good results out of it. Needs 4x AAA batteries for the controller unit. Needs a phone app for the camera function, which streams over WiFi Direct so the camera range is limited to WiFi range. If you use a VPN on your phone be sure to disable it for the drone. Drones are not really suitable as children's toys.

Free: Vitamin C 250 x 1g tablets (Lansdown) Gifted Recent (arrived yesterday) order from Ebay. The reason I'm offering it is that it's a duplicate; the courier didn't deliver it, so the vendor sent another one, but in the end both items arrived together and I don't need two. Unopened. Expiry date July 2026. This is "high dose" vitamin C.

Free: HG Mould Spray, almost new (Lansdown) Gifted This is amazing stuff if you have a mould problem; it's particularly good for black mould which it kills and bleaches so you wouldn't know it was ever there. I bought it today for £7.99 but all I needed on this occasion was a few little squirts so this is very nearly a full bottle.

Free: The Times, 19 Feb 1936 (Lansdown) Gifted Fair readable condition, with definite novelty value. The spine of the newspaper has somehow been partly cut, it looks to me like a manufacturing defect, so the pages aren't bound together as well as they should be, although this does not affect the printed area of the pages, where the newsprint has lasted better than you might expect.

Free: Portable cassette player/recorder (Lansdown) Gifted Sanyo Talk Book portable cassette player/recorder. Works fine, I don't think it has been used much. Built in speaker and mic, headphone socket, external mic socket. Optional voice activation mode (VAS). Powered by 2 AA rechargeable batteries (supplied) or 3V mains adapter (not supplied). This is a nice machine, the only problem with all cassette players is that eventually their drive bands break, although the body on this one is fastened using screws so repairs should be possible if/when that time comes.

Free: Indenture (Lansdown) Gifted This is an indenture, that is to say a legal document that was cut in two with a squiggly edge to provide proof that each half was genuine. Tenants are listed as Watson, Crop, Saunders, Lambourn, Franham, Bitmead, Mason, Wise, Taylor, Phillips, Day, Cooper, Kerton, Martin, Holloway, Hunt, Higgs, Waite, Pearce, Johnson, Holton and Mrs Pearce. Dimensions are approx 50cm(h)x60cm(w). Wax seal.
