Free: rattan basket with hinged lid (south sunnyvale) dimensions: Height 11.5", Width 15.5", Depth 12". problem with it: when storing fabrics inside I found that pieces of straw ended up falling out of the lid. if spray painted inside might eliminate that. also should be repainted outside. otherwise it's in good condition, hinges work, lid closes nicely.

Free: adult size backpack (south sunnyvale) Gifted this backpack feels too big for my body and straps slide off my shoulders. I was going to put another strap with clip to go across front of chest to keep should straps in place. but I recently got another backpack that works better for me. I can include the materials to add that across chest strap incl clip. brand is Bag Nation. has one big compartment and many very useful additional ones around sides and front. well made and attractive. I did one repair around zipper where it was disattaching from backpack itself.

Historical fiction of boy from Berlin immigrating to America around years 1893-1901. 1200 pages! but a great read. book is so thick it broke into 2 parts. I can bind them together if you want. but I found it easier to read as is. Author John Jakes.

Free: 60 piece jigsaw puzzle -- 4 yrs + (south sunnyvale) Withdrawn got from another freecycler and we loved working it. cute picture and simplicity level that your kids or grands would love. full disclosure -- one piece is broken a little. you can detect this in the pic of the finished puzzle. it did not distract from putting it together.

Free: Tempest Weather Stations (south sunnyvale) Gifted 2 Tempest 'Weatherflow' weather stations, more or less complete. They both have different problems and neither works perfectly. We've tried putting parts together to make one working station but so far have failed. so they available to anyone who'd like to give it a try. these originally cost $160-170 range. User manuals are available online.

Free: wide leg summer pants sz L -- XL (south sunnyvale) Gifted waistband measures 34"-36" and has elastic in sides. 2 side pockets. fabric called Lyocell is derived from wood pulp, primarily eucalyptus, interesting colors and mod art pattern that's more muted than looks. loose legs and great for hot weather. excellent condition.

Free: thinsulate warm gloves (south sunnyvale) Gifted they dont match, but both are thinsulate which blocks wind, and so they are equal in warmth. great early morning winter bike commuting gloves (what i used them for), or for any winter sports. fit me (women's Large hands), and too tight for my husband (men's Large hands). so somewhere in the middle.
