Request: passata jars Received 72d - Hi freecyclers, If you have a stash of passata jars lurking around for ‘one day’, I would love to make use of them! My family guilted me into recycling most of ours but now I need heaps! Will travel anywhere in Canberra area for a bulk amount. Thanks in advance, Jess Request: extra large saucepan or canning equipment 77d - Hi Freecyclers, I am wondering if anyone has a super deep saucepan (would need to be almost 30cm or more), or an old water bath canning setup they don’t use. I made passata the other day, then discovered my biggest pot was too small to can with and had to freeze the entire batch! Happy to collect from anywhere in the Canberra region (I live south east out of town, but willing to travel). I’d buy one but this feels like the kind of thing people have lurking around in a back cupboard, unused. Thanks, Jess Free: WANTED: Sunbeam blender & food processor parts - Urila Expired 212d - Hi freecyclers, I have a Sunbeam duo that has a blender attachment and a food processor, with lots of different blades. The base has stopped working - the motor goes but the gears don’t engage. Would anyone like the blender and food processor bits? Or alternatively, if anyone has a working base they’d like to be rid of, I’d be happy to take it. Request: Comfrey root or plants, worms (for worm farm) Expired 239d - Hi freecyclers, Does anyone have surplus Comfrey they’d like to be rid off? I am happy to dig plants or take pieces of root (they will form plants quickly). Unfortunately the plumber decimated my patch before winter and it is not looking hopeful! I’m also after a handful (or more) of worm farm worms or eggs (not the kind you dig from the garden). I didn’t get the positioning of our worm farm quite right when we moved and I think I slightly cooked our population! I’m willing to collect from pretty much anywhere but we are closest to Queanbeyan or Tuggeranong. It’s in pretty good nick and would suit a campervan conversion, or a spare but my teenage daughter has been using it for about 6 months straight with no complaints. Originally from Makin Mattresses. Dimensions approx 1400 x 1850 x 130. As we live half an hour out of Queanbeyan/Tuggeranong, I’m prepared to deliver, or to meet at a mutually suitable pick up point. Request: washing line, pallets Expired 1y - Hi All, I’m looking for a washing line for my parents. Can pretty much make any kind work. Happy to collect from just about anywhere in the region. Also looking for hardwood or pressure treated pallets or old hardwood fence palings. A little bit of damage to the ends is ok but I don’t want super rotted ones only useful for firewood. Free: baby safety gates - Queanbeyan Gifted 1y - I have 2 different sized baby safety gates, both white. One can do a span close to 2m, or less (it has removable sections). Has a pull out desk and ladder, plus built in drawers and shelves. I will dismantle for collection - you’ll need a ute or trailer to move it. Would prefer it was gone by next Tuesday or Wednesday. Cheers, Jess Free: curtains, various household items, jars - Queanbeyan (Edited by Mod Expired 1y - Hi all, I have a few sets of curtains to offer. 2 pairs are cream, 2 pairs are a silvery grey pattern, 1 pair has a rosey pattern. Grey and cream curtains measure approx 132cm wide x 210cm (4 individual panels, or 2 pairs of each colour). Some of the eyelets on grey set have come out or are missing. The rose patterned ones are 70cm wide by about 105cm long and rod pocket style. None of the curtains are thermal backed. All have been washed and in pretty good condition (except missing eyelets on grey sets). Various tie backs as pictured. I also have a box of assorted clean jars, a ‘nut loaf’ cake tin, Brita water filter jug (no filters but these can be purchased from places like big w and are not expensive), a klippo plastic container and a ceramic 2-tier cake plate. Request: moving boxes & plastic storage boxes Expired 1y - Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has any smaller moving boxes or plastic storage tubs they can spare? I’m looking the right size for heavy things like books and crockery. I’m in Queanbeyan but will be all over town this week, so would gratefully collect from anywhere. Thanks, Jess
