Free: Metal waste paper bins (Walkley S6) Gifted 3 metal waste paper bins. Approximately 25.5 cm tall and 22.5cm diameter at the top. These are old and there are scratches and dents, especially to on the one on the right of the picture, but all are still usable. I have cleaned them up as best I can. Take one or all three. Free: DIY banner (Walkley S6) Expired This is a piece of plain navy stretch fabric approximately 180cm long and 81cm wide attached to wooden poles at each end. The poles are about 120cm long and 22mm diameter. I think it was originally used as a backdrop to tell stories, but if you add your own picture or slogan, it would make a good banner. Or you could dismantle it and use the fabric and poles for something else completely! Evening collection easiest with me. Free: 2 seater futon - read carefully (Walkley S6) Gifted Please read carefully before requesting this item: Old and very saggy 2 seater futon, which converts to a rather lumpy bed. My ex made some modifications to the wooden frame to get it to stand upright a bit more, and added a diagonal piece to strengthen it at the back. I added some heavy duty straps with Velcro to try to prevent the mattress from slipping down, but this was less successful. Photos show the mattress in position as it should be, how it ends up after a few days of people sitting on it, and the wooden base alone. The mattress cover will come off for washing, but has stains that I could not get out. There is a fire safety label. The frame will dismantle with a screwdriver and Allen key. The longest pieces of wood are 143cm long. When assembled, the frame is 1m deep and 80cm high. Please check the dimensions of your vehicle to make sure it will fit. Happy for you to take frame and mattress or frame only. We will be taking the mattress to the tip in about 2 weeks’ time, but the wooden frame will be available for a month. Free: Wicker laundry box (Walkley S6) Gifted Sturdy wicker laundry box. 55cm tall, 39cm at the widest part of the hexagonal top. This is over 50 years old and could do with being repainted. There is a dent in one side (shown in picture) and a home repair to the flap which opens the lid, but it is still perfectly usable. Evening collection easiest with me. My dad extended the power cable and you might want to replace that (or get it checked/repaired by a competent person) before using. It was kept and used in his garage and would benefit from a clean. Free: Waste paper baskets (Walkley S6) Gifted 3 waste paper baskets. The one in the middle of the picture is the largest at 25cm high and with a top diameter of 27cm. The one on the right is a couple of cm taller, but not quite so wide. The one on the left is unravelling a bit at the top, but has been successfully repaired once, and the repair could be extended. Free: Wooden footstool (Walkley S6) Gifted Wooden footstool 34cm long x 31cm wide x 27cm high. The top was repaired with a piece of hardboard in the 1970s (it used to have a woven top). Comes with a home-made cushion which was probably made in the past 20 years but has no fire safety label. Could be a good upcycling project for someone. Evening collection usually easier with me. This design has suckers on one side, which stick to the bath, and a sort of plastic “grass” effect on the other side to stand/sit on. Good condition. I don’t think it had much use. Good condition (as far as I know it was only used for 2 babies, albeit 5 decades ago…) I’m not sure if it’s wool or a blend of wool and synthetics.
