Passenger mats (NOT driver's side) for a 2009 Octavia (Springfield MK6)
Note none of these mats is for the driver's side. Although there are 4 mats, it is actually a set of three (passenger and two rear - reverse also shown - these were quite a hardy set) plus one random one. Note none of these have holes for clipping in place. They are 'as new' but have been in the garage for quite a while.

LAST CHANCE: Spacer for an inhaler. NB dates to 2006 (Springfield MK6)
Expired
LAST CHANCE! I will withdraw this post and dispose of above on Tues 25th February. Found this in the back of a cupboard where it has been since our daughter decided she could manage without. It is for children (or adults) that struggle to inhale asthma medicine correctly using the inhaler alone. I would recommend you get this checked for efficiency before using, given its age, but hopefully it will serve well as a spare eg where parents share care across two homes. This is a simple mechanism and I don’t think much can go wrong with it, but if anyone ‘in the know’ thinks I should not be Freegling this then do feel free to message me.

Gift box (Springfield MK6)
This has been in the garage for several years and may be musty but it seems too nice to throw out. Very roughly 6" square by 4" deep.

Free:
Brush calligraphy set (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
In a slightly warped box, a lovely set, unused, for creating brush calligraphic marks such as for painting on Chinese or Japanese scrolls or banners.

Free:
Mini Buddha bits (Springfield MK6)
This was a mini Buddha in a cardboard box that made a 'shrine' - but in fact it's not the original Buddha that came in the box. Still a bit of fun though. Maybe the green marble was being held by the Buddha - I can't recall. Also some joss-stick holders.

Free:
Spinning top type toys and some bonus bits (Springfield MK6)
Bit of a mixture here. Two types of 'wind up' spinner, and some Pokémon toys that roll on a ball bearing plus some odd other plastic toys.

Free:
Wooden toys (Springfield MK6)
Have been stored in the garage for years, so may be musty. Old-style traditional toys: a cup and ball; spinning top; whistle. Plus a dragon jigsaw, which has gloss paint on one side but has also been painted on the reverse with child's poster paints.

Free:
Large pack, unopened, of puppy pads (Springfield MK6)
Promised
Have been stored in the garage a couple of years. Intended for puppies, but also useful for protecting areas where spillages may happen.

Free:
Card Toy Theatre - Cinderella (Springfield MK6)
Note, this will likely smell musty as it's been in the garage. This pack has the makings for a Pollock's toy theatre, with cast and scenery for Cinderella. Performance-ready, and indeed there were several home performances 20+years ago. Having said that, I can't guarantee all the bits are there, but I believe they will be. Time for this lovely bit of home entertainment to be passed on to some new enthusiasts!

2x White plastic baskets for the bathroom (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
These are the bottom two from a set of three that are meant to hang below each other in the shower. I have taken the hook and one basket so they are only really good as independent baskets now. c. 21x16cm at widest points.

I promise you the three left in there have never been out the bag!

Extension rails to adapt a hanging rail (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Note, this is not a hanging rail. You use these to turn a hanging rail you already have for long clothes into two hanging rails, one beneath the other, for shorter items. It did not work for us because although we had a large wardrobe, each side was not quite wide enough to accommodate the pole. Note, the pack contains two extenders, so let me know if you want both or just one of the sets.

Wobble / balance board (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
This is designed to train you to be excellent at balance. Only problem is, I can barely get on the thing let alone balance on it. It will really only work on carpet as it will slither around otherwise. It's on the cusp of downright dangerous imo. If you are elderly / have even a hint of osteoporosis, please don't get this as it will be more likely to be the cause than aid the prevention of falls. Best of luck, Freeglers, and take care!

Camping/ sleeping mat (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
This is a single mat for sleeping on when camping. It could be inflated slightly for added comfort/insulation from the ground, but as we’ve had it a while I can’t be sure it doesn’t leak. It can be rolled up right with the strap to keep it tight.

Cabbage for chickens/ rabbits etc (Springfield MK6)
Expired
Still in fridge 5/12 and looking good - three small cabbages, just imo a bit too cabbagy for human consumption! But maybe someone with chickens or rabbits or Guinea pigs etc etc would be glad of them? I’ll keep them in the fridge a while longer so feel free to enquire. I’ll withdraw the ad once they’re gone, one way or another! 🐓 🐇 🐀 🐐 🦙 🗑

Two small wooden boxes (Springfield MK6)
Expired
These nice little boxes contained crystallised ginger once, and since then I’ve tried to find odd uses for them as they seem too cute to dispose of - but frankly they are not really good for much, being quite shallow and with lids that just sit there loosely rather than being tight fitting. Anybody want to give them a home?

Out of date catalogues for stamp collectors (Springfield MK6)
Expired
See photograph - happy to split these or hand over the lot. NB if a stamp collector can confirm what I suspect - that these books are no use to anybody and may as well all go straight in the recycling - I’d be grateful if they’d let me know that rather than me feeling guilty about chucking something I I worry others might find a useful resource!

Cardboard Boxes (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Cardboard boxes that might be helpful for moving house: One very large, great for big but lightweight stuff. One that had a full length mirror inside, so it’s long and wide but not very deep. One that had a microwave in. One sturdy square one, recently had something damp laid across it (drying already since pic taken this morning), but might be useful for something heavy but fragile as it has a thick layer of polystyrene in bottom. Two much smaller boxes from trainers and a window vac. Some brown packaging paper . No need to take all if you don’t want, just ask.

Laundry basket / large holey wastepaper bin (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Has been well-used and very slightly discoloured, and now that it’s empty I see a small dent but it’s not obvious. No breaks and no areas that would catch woollens and we’d still be happy using it if I hadn’t another that fits more snugly behind our door.

3 x Sturdy boxes with packaging (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Two 40 x 40cm double walled cardboard boxes, with plastic large-bubble packaging. These held large ceramic plant pots, which arrived safely despite boxes being slightly dented. Also one single wall 30 x 30 cardboard box with thick twisted paper packaging. I’ve been trying to load pics to no avail, so will post first and try adding photos after.

Very large silver/green reverse tarpaulin (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Photos include aerial one from when it covered gazebo to demonstrate size. Torn in a few places, and some of the eyeholes ripped away, but much of it is still very serviceable. At the very least this will do a great job in various guises on an allotment!

Free:
3 Hospital blankets (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Available again following a cancelled collection. We were given these pale green blankets for my Dad to use at home but we prefer his own bedding. The blankets are not totally new, but are in very good condition and were laundered when we received them and I washed them again anyway. They are nice soft blankets, especially for the summer or in a warm room, as they are thin and light yet still have a comforting weight to them. One has a few small black marks and a single larger one (3x3cm see photo) which I think by the shape of it is from the rubber foot of some previously used equipment, perhaps a monitor. Please let me know your availability and I will leave bagged outside for collection.

They are very basic and there are a LOT of them in one roll.

Wipe clean hospital pillow and slipcase (Springfield MK6)
Gifted
Photo to follow. Given to us by the hospital for my Dad to use at home, but we preferred our own bedding so not used (by us at any rate). Pillow slip was already clean but I have washed it anyway! Unfortunately I will probably dispose of it if there is no interest, just because of the ‘hospital’ association which I prefer to move on from, but I hope someone else can get over that and make good use, because if I’m honest it’s a damn sight cleaner than any of my own pillows!

Photo to follow. This was given to us by MKUH hospital when Dad came home but Medequip had already delivered us one so this one not needed.

A working mouse (Springfield MK6)
Expired
Hello, my husband’s tracking pad has failed on his laptop so he keeps taking MY mouse that I use for my PC! I would appreciate any mouse wireless or wired I don’t mind as long as definitely working with no loose wires etc. Preferably not too long a drive from Springfield, but will consider all offers and will respond. Many thanks in advance!
