Free: “Floating” picture frame - fix (SG4 hitchin) NEEDS FIXING: This is a picture frame that has two pieces of glass for sandwiching a picture between the two so it looks like the picture is “floating” in the middle. The black bit used to be stuck to the front glass but it has come off, so the glass and picture keep falling out of the frame when the frame is propped up. Fixable I think if you want to have a go!

Free: Shampoo pump bottles (empty) (SG4 hitchin) Kirkland signature (Costco) shampoo bottles x6 - empty, but has a good pump function for refills and ease of use.

Free: Lunchbox - bento (Japanese) (SG4 hitchin) Bento-Style lunchbox that has different compartments. The clasps got slightly cracked (tried to show in photos) but it can still be closed and won’t break further if you’re gentle with it.

Free: Kids walkie-talkies (SG4 hitchin) These mostly work - one of them works fine and you can listen and talk through it. The other can only listen - you can’t speak through it. Each one takes 4 x AAA batteries. If you do get these, take the batteries out when not in use as they drain down when you’re not using it, even if it’s switched off.

Free: Shields - captain America Spiderman (SG4 hitchin) Gifted Homemade cardboard shields - our kids love these. Needs another piece of cardboard taped to the back as a handle.

Free: Gas bbq barbecue (SG4 hitchin) Gifted BBQ still works, but the grill area is quite corroded. Still works but doesn’t look great. Note this is a gas bbq, not charcoal, so you’d need a gas tank to attach. Comes with a cover as well (although this is not fully waterproof).

Free: Electric pepper mill - not working? (SG4 hitchin) Gifted We bought one of these about a month ago, then it just stopped working, we got a replacement, then the first one started working again. Then it stopped working and the other one worked but stopped working. Not sure if there is a loose connection inside or something but if anyone wants to try fixing one or both, they were good pepper grinders before they stopped working! Takes 4 AAA batteries.

Free: Wheelie suitcase - carry on size (SG4 hitchin) Gifted Update: we managed to push the handle back in but it should be kept pushed in - if you pull it out it might not push in again. So can be used as a carry bag with a handle instead of a wheelie bag (although the wheels still work fine). 51 x 31 x 19cm - fits standard carry on measurements. Handle has broken - see last photo. Might be able to be fixed, but as of right now, it’s permanently pulled out and not attached on one side. Handle could be taken off if it can’t be fixed. Wheels work fine but it will be hard to wheel if handle is broken. There’s a carrying handle on the top and the side as well. Zippers are stiff, but they can be loosened up with Vaseline or similar.

They could probably be sanded a bit to make better contact. Takes 3 x AAA batteries

Free: Variety of workbooks, magazines (SG4 hitchin) Gifted And CGP educational books and colouring books for toddlers up to age 7. Most of them have some writing in them, but most of the book is unused. Take all or some - you’re welcome to come look through them.

Free: Jars - clean (SG4 hitchin) Gifted A variety of clean jars that could be used for crafts, spice storage etc. Let me know which ones / how many you want. They do have sticky labels on, so those would need to be removed if you wanted to get rid of the label.

Free: Doll house (SG4 hitchin) Gifted Used dollhouse, very large (119cm high x 80 wide x 30cm deep). Signs of wear and tear where pattern on floor has worn away. There is a lift that moves up a floor but it is pretty stiff, so you have to give it a good push

Free: Lego advent calendar (SG4 hitchin) Gifted Partially used. Half of the advent boxes haven’t been opened. Each day comes with a small LEGO kit and a picture showing how to assemble. I will include the ones already opened and assembled. Once they are all opened, they can be used to play a board game. Lego are Disney characters, so this can be done as an activity even though Christmas is over.

Free: Pets Alive sloth Toy (SG4 hitchin) Gifted This toy is supposed to dance around but for some reason it’s not working, even when fresh batteries are in. Perhaps fixable If you’d like to have a go at it? Otherwise I have to throw it away.

Free: Bose headphones - one side broken (SG4 hitchin) Gifted Sound doesn’t come through one of the sides. Not sure if it’s fixable but they are expensive headphones! They’re supposed to be noise cancelling as well.
