Free: 12 large plastic bags (94040) 12 plastic bags, about 40" long. They were used one time for transporting bread. There may be a few crumbs here and there but otherwise the bags are clean. They're great for storing large things that you don't want to get dusty.

Free: 3/4 size violin (94040) Gifted 3/4 size violin that was donated to a school that I work with. I don't know the brand, but there's a label inside that says "Made in Hungary." The violin needs a new G string. The back has a crack down the middle (see photo). I don't think that the crack affects the tone or structural integrity. Hopefully someone can use it as a practice instrument. I don't have a case or bow for this instrument.

Free: Suzuki digital pianos, need work (94022) Gifted The Los Altos High School music department is giving away 7 Suzuki HP-85 digital pianos that need work. I believe that these are all repairs that are common to electro-mechanical instruments: A: Sticking F#, pedal cable is missing D: One of the keys stuck F: Low G lost sensitivity I: Low E is overly sensitive; F above middle C rattles, broken pedal K: Low C# doesn't work, pedal connection flaky O: Low Eb lost sensitivity R: High F# lost sensitivity "Lost sensitivity" means that the key works but the note sounds loud even when you press the key lightly. The pedal mechanism is nicely built, but has a proprietary cable that is soldered to the circuit board of the pedal. If you'd like any of these instruments, let me know and we'll make the arrangements.
