Request: Sweetcorn seedlings/young plants (Marsh LA1) Withdrawn Have left it quite late to start seedlings off & for various reasons I don't have the capacity to start now - if you have about 5 seedlings of sweetcorn I have somewhere to put them directly in my garden, with thanks in anticipation,, Annie.

Request: A bench (Marsh LA1) Withdrawn I'm looking for a fairly broad & level bench (without arms) as, due to disability/back problems, I need to lie down frequently, this ideally for a sunny corner in my garden. Hope someone here can help...Annie

Free: Bed + Mattress (Marsh LA1) Gifted Double (Queen) bed, metal frame +wooden slats, v. good condition, + Sleepmasters pocket-sprung mattress, needs collecting from Tuesday 18th March, from the Marsh. Bed to be dismantled on morning of 18/03; mattress & metal headboard are the largest parts; fire retardent label on mattress. All original tools and 2-page assembly instructions come with the bed. Collection preferred; if not able to collect, you would have to arrange to put heavy pieces in car & I can deliver with your help, Annie.

Free: Dyson V6 (Marsh LA1) Gifted Well-used Dyson V6, lightweight and with a still-good battery (replaced original battery in 2023). However, some of the working parts are so worn that they would need replacing, specifically the rollers in the end of the long tube that does the bulk of picking up. Many of these parts are available (cheaper than Dyson parts) on e-Bay, so if you have the time to spend looking on E-Bay it's worth a look. I've now bought a new hoover as my needs have changed, but I don't want to dump this one as it might be useful to someone for parts (I repeat, the battery is a Li-ion re-chargeable for Dyson DC62, 21.6 V, 4000mAh, 86.4 Wh. I would be happy to drop-off somewhere local in Lancaster or Morecambe area - if you know of someone who needs parts please contact me here, thanks Annie.

Free: plastic sheet (Marsh LA1) Gifted It came as packaging & I'd like to save it from landfill. It could be effectively re-used for the bottom of a rabbit hutch or as a layer on the ground for keeping things dry. See photo, can easily be cut to size. Roughly 2.1 m x 90 cms.

Free: Plastic roofing sheet (Marsh LA1) Gifted Offcut 180 cms x 60 cm. Original purpose used to cover a small pergola; this piece left over, wish to save it from landfill.

Request: Gym ball (Marsh LA1) Received I'm looking for a pilates/yoga-type exersise/gym ball - the type often used to maintain core strength. Needed new or used (and even slightly squidgy) to join a somatic movement class later this month (January '24), I can collect in Lancaster or near to Lancaster. Maybe you have one cluttering up space in a cupboard, room, shed or garage? I could use it! Many thanks, Annie.

Free: Glass jars (Central Lancaster LA1) Expired A selection of medium to small glass jars, cleaned with all their lids, ideal for jam makers, chutney makers, kimchi makers, etc. I cannot see them go into "recycling"/smashing, when they're perfectly good & serviceable as they are. Also ome empty & cleaned glass jars/pouring bottles good for storing fruit juices, maple syrup, etc.
