Assorted foam tiles (Dupont Circle)
We have a lot of interlocking foam tiles that used to be the floor of a kids play area. There are 8-10 2’x2’ tiles with animals (elephant, monkey, giraffe, lion) in white and purple and a couple blue; about 52 1’x1’ squares in white, purple, green, blue, and orange; and maybe 36 ramp borders (some corner and some edge) which you can attach to the edges of the mat to give it a straight and beveled edge. Some of them, especially the white ones, have gotten a little discolored over time from dirt (and they’re not so easy to clean). Others were never used and are new. I’d prefer to give away all of them together. (The tiles on the floor of the room where I took the picture, those are staying btw) These were made by a company called SoftTiles that seems to have gone out of business, which is sad because their tiles were quite high quality and had great animal shape options.

Does anyone have short lengths - like 5 or 10 feet - of 14 gauge solid wire - the kind of wire that goes in switch boxes and light fixture boxes? I need a few small lengths to connect something. The local hardware store sells cut by the foot 12 gauge but not 14. Ideally I'd love some black colored and some white colored, but I can be flexible.

As I understand it the utility of these from a data storage standpoint is pretty limited nowadays since something like a thumb drive is way bigger and faster, but it’s possible, and often people find use for them in crafts projects because they are shiny. The back (shiny) sides are all purple.

The bottom also can be adjusted in 3 positions for height. There are straps to buckle the kid in. I have 2 of them and you can request both or just one.

I accidentally had the hardware store mix this quart and don't need it. It's Benjamin Moore's color "New York State of Mind" which is a deep (and beautiful) blue that's navy-like, maybe a little lighter and warmer. It's BM's Aura (top of the line paint) in flat finish. This is a Zyliss crank cheese grater. You put a piece of cheese in and squeeze the handle to hold it against the grating drum as you turn the handle. Works great for making Parmesan shreds for pasta and other stuff like that.

This is a Bonavita Connoisseur 8 cup coffee maker, about 5 years old. We didn’t descale it regularly and it stopped fully brewing the coffee before shutting off. Recently we got descaling powder and descaled it, but now a white residue comes out when we run water through it. Maybe that’s just build-up that will eventually wash out with more cycles and/or more descaling, not sure. If you can troubleshoot, then hopefully this can be useful to you.

This is a device parents can use for times like when you say “you can play for 10 more minutes and then it’s bath time.” This lets you just rotate the red piece to 10 minutes and the kids can see exactly how much time is left and I think it buzzes when it runs out.
