Free: Ring Spanner for heating system (Wombwell S73) Withdrawn An unused plastic spanner for a Sealus Mag Defender. A full flow magnetic filter. I recently had a new central heating system installed, and this device was thrown away by the installers. This is the tool to open it and replace the filter.

Free: DELL dimension 4700 mini tower pc. (Wombwell S73) Expired A good condition dell mini tower pc. The Dell Dimension 4700. It had an optical drive (IDE) 160gb HDD (SATA) A discrete Graphics Card A tel45 dial up modem 56k A PCI Network Card up to 1gb A PCIe Wireless Network Card Dell branded audio surround sound 5.1 I picked this up for a scsi project which unfortunately this pc wont do. Not enough RAM to run the necessary software. So the original windows install was naff, and could not be salvaged, so I installed Damn Small Linux 2025. A 700mb install. It works surprisingly well on this system. Would be ideal for a home nas ( with some upgrades, obviously). And comes with that monitor and 5.1 speakers. All of which are working at the time of this advert.

Free: Aspire one Cloud book 11 (Wombwell S73) Gifted A used cloud book 11 from Aspire. Two keys missing from the keyboard which is a bit of a pain, but an external keyboard CAN be used. You can source a replacement off ebay for a few quid. It is a fairly easy swap out for anyone with a modicum of sense. 2gb ram and 32gb of emmc for long term storage. Although if the battery goes flat, your data is possibly gone too. Included is the original(?) Power supply. Factory reset. But... I would recommend installing something like DSL2024 as it will run so much faster/better. Due to its limited ram and storage, but that is me...

Request: Old win 10 pc or laptops. (Wombwell S73) Expired If you have an old pc or laptop that I can upcycle, then I will be pleased to take it off your hands. I offer to wipe the hard drive of data using the latest version of Dukes Boot and Nuke (Google it) As i recycle and gift these fixer uppers to those who can't afford to buy them (kids and oap's) I ask for working computers, but may take known dead computers as donors I am in Wombwell, and will travel around 20 miles or so to pick up your old kit. Free: Office/Gaming Chair (Wombwell S73) Gifted Grey fabric office chair, only a few months old. Has built in USB powered vibration and (ahem) massage function, which to be fair is cr*p. Needs an external usb power supply. And comes with the required usb cable. The chair is a little worse for wear as my cats have used it as a scratching post. It's fair condition with no real defects. The recliner works, the hydraulic riser under the seat is ok. Only rated at 90kg so not very good for heavier people like me (I am nearly 158kg). Needs cleaning as it suffered a catastrophic ceiling collapse and is a bit dusty, which a good hoover can fix. As it is fully assembled a large boot or an estate car will be needed to take it away.

Request: old win 10 computers for a linux project (Wombwell S73) Expired I tinker with pc's and like wasting my time on tech projects that often don't pan out. As long as it powers on, and will boot into the now "dead" windows 10, I can re-use it. If you are concerned about your data, please be aware that I use a program called Dareks Boot and Nuke to wipe the hard drive (s) with confidence that ALL data is wiped forever. Google it if you are unsure, but it is the most effective "free" program to erase hard drives of ANY incriminating or (Ahem) "delicate" data. I recommend EVERYONE uses it before passing ANY computers on. It is free to download and use for personal use, "just" install to bootable USB drive and reboot. the software will warn the user that the action is permanent and unrecoverable... say yes 2 or three times, and sit back... Can collect within a reasonable travel distance from Wombwell.,

Free: Waste Toner container (Wombwell S73) Expired For a Samsung clx printer. The printer died years ago, and this was in storage, just found it, and as it is of no use to me whatsoever, Just the one .. 😂 If you are not sure if it will fit your model, then google it... If it is compatible with your printer...

Free: Old wood wardrobe (Wombwell S73) Expired Double door wardrobe with two doors, one with a mirror on the inside the other hasn't. It has a cubby hole on the right and a hanging rail on the left and under the cubbyhole. Spring locks on the doors. No key for the locks but you can find them on ebay or at bootsales. It has four legs, not shown, which are inside a box inside the cupboard. Fairly good condition for a wardrobe that's knocking on 50 years old. It's almost an antique.. Must go asap as I need the room. It's a shame to take it to the tip as it is in mint condition... it won't fit between the stairs and the ceiling so I can't get it up into a bedroom, or I would keep it myself. But, it must go as I need the room, as said.

Request: Cable protection (Wombwell S73) Expired I am in need of about 1metre of that rubber cable protector to protect a cable that crosses a doorway. It doesn't have to be mint, just functional as it is a high traffic area. And the risk of tripping is high. If you have multiple, then they can be used too. Many thanks

Request: Computer desk (Wombwell S73) Expired I'm looking for a computer desk for my sister. She has a "tower" pc and the usual junk that goes with it, and currently has it set up by balancing one thing on top of another. Request: Flat panel TV (Wombwell S73) Received A neighbour of mine, an elderly lady needs a replacement TV. Her current 32inch has gone purple and is barely viewable. I have tested it and the white lights along the edge of the screen are failing. She can't get out much and I am looking for a tv for her. It only needs one hdmi as she has a tv box underneath her existing tv. Anything over 32 inches would be fantastic as she struggles with anything smaller. (I have a 15 inch lcd tv and she couldn't see it very well). Her current tv is around 30 inches and she is comfortable with that. We are in the wombwell train station area and can collect to suit you.. Many thanks for reading.
