Request: old win 10 computers for a linux project (Wombwell S73) I tinker with pc's and like wasting my time on tech projects that often don't pan out. As long as it powers on, and will boot into the now "dead" windows 10, I can re-use it. If you are concerned about your data, please be aware that I use a program called Dareks Boot and Nuke to wipe the hard drive (s) with confidence that ALL data is wiped forever. Google it if you are unsure, but it is the most effective "free" program to erase hard drives of ANY incriminating or (Ahem) "delicate" data. I recommend EVERYONE uses it before passing ANY computers on. It is free to download and use for personal use, "just" install to bootable USB drive and reboot. the software will warn the user that the action is permanent and unrecoverable... say yes 2 or three times, and sit back... Can collect within a reasonable travel distance from Wombwell.,

Request: Floor cable protection (Wombwell S73) Received I'm looking for some of the rubber trunking for cables that will run across a doorway.. a trip hazard. I need enough for 2 doorways that are about 700mm wide. Many thanks for reading

Free: Old wood wardrobe (Wombwell S73) Expired Double door wardrobe with two doors, one with a mirror on the inside the other hasn't. It has a cubby hole on the right and a hanging rail on the left and under the cubbyhole. Spring locks on the doors. No key for the locks but you can find them on ebay or at bootsales. It has four legs, not shown, which are inside a box inside the cupboard. Fairly good condition for a wardrobe that's knocking on 50 years old. It's almost an antique.. Must go asap as I need the room. It's a shame to take it to the tip as it is in mint condition... it won't fit between the stairs and the ceiling so I can't get it up into a bedroom, or I would keep it myself. But, it must go as I need the room, as said.

Request: Cable protection (Wombwell S73) Expired I am in need of about 1metre of that rubber cable protector to protect a cable that crosses a doorway. It doesn't have to be mint, just functional as it is a high traffic area. And the risk of tripping is high. If you have multiple, then they can be used too. Many thanks

Request: Computer desk (Wombwell S73) Expired I'm looking for a computer desk for my sister. She has a "tower" pc and the usual junk that goes with it, and currently has it set up by balancing one thing on top of another. Request: Flat panel TV (Wombwell S73) Received A neighbour of mine, an elderly lady needs a replacement TV. Her current 32inch has gone purple and is barely viewable. I have tested it and the white lights along the edge of the screen are failing. She can't get out much and I am looking for a tv for her. It only needs one hdmi as she has a tv box underneath her existing tv. Anything over 32 inches would be fantastic as she struggles with anything smaller. (I have a 15 inch lcd tv and she couldn't see it very well). Her current tv is around 30 inches and she is comfortable with that. Free: Carpet (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Expired Colour as shown Size is approximately 10 ft wide (!@ widest measurements) And 12 ft long (!@longest measurements). Hessian backed. Underlay is available. Carpet was in a bedroom and was cut in to fit. It will need a thorough clean. Currently outside on driveway. Must go asap as blocking the drive.

Free: Wheelbarrow (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Gifted Orange wheelbarrow. B&Q type. Metal frame, and plastic bucket. Handgrip are worn and taped up. Flat tyre needs replacing because the rubber has perished and inner tube is fubar. Small crack in bucket near bolts.

Free: Stairgate (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Gifted A well used and fully functional stairgate with extension bits for those wider doors. Missing the "cups" that screw into the doorframe I have given it a quick once over and it appears to be usable. If for your kids, then it will need a thorough clean, but if it is to be used it for your pets... then "it'll do". Must go asap as we are clearing out

Free: Gandalf Costume (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Expired Basically, a staff and grey hat. (There was a robe, but I'm afraid it got mouldy and had to be thrown away). Would be great for that enthusiastic person about to do a fancy dress party.. just add a long bathrobe (grey, of course) and voila! Gandalf...

Free: Quarter of a ton of sand. (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Expired A white bulk bag of builders sand. About a quarter to a third left. Would be ideal for mixing cement mortar mix. Or a kids sandpit... Bring your own buckets, lol. Must go soon.

Free: Double Mattress (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Gifted Used cream double mattress. It is quite soft with a integrated topper. It is soft around the edges and extremely comy. We've had it around 7 years and are moving soon and it is going to be surplus to our needs as we are downsizing. It is upstairs at the moment, but can be dragged to the bottom of the stairs. You will need to carry it out to your vehicle. I am unable to assist as I am partially disabled.

Free: Radeon 7990 xtx gaming gpu (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Expired This came in a pc I bought off gumtree. It is around 12 to 13 years old. When I powered the computer up, it worked beautifully and I ran it for about 2 hours. After a day or so I came back to the pc to prep it for new use, and to delete all the previous owners info and do a clean install to windows 10. Halfway through the process, it just stopped working. No video out on any of the connections on the card. The fans spin, the system sees the card, and boots. If it didn't see the card, it would stop and give a beep code indicating a gpu failure. It does not beep. (I added a second gpu and used that to connect to my monitor, hence I could see this gpu was being found and drivers were being installed.) As stated, I have tested this card in three separate computers with the same result. No video out. I have sniff tested it, and I cannot smell that cooked electric odour. Nor can a smell any ozone or traces of the magic blue smoke. It could be drivers. It may not. It may be a hardware issue and I just can't see any sign of damage. It just stopped working. If you think you can fix it... its yours for the shitzandgiggles...

Free: Hoover Washing Machine SE148 (Pilgrims' Hatch CM15) Expired Before you get your hopes up, this thing is for spares. It released the magic blue smoke, and now it doesn't do its magic anymore. So, it powers on. It clicks and clacks for a few seconds then does nothing. It has had a new drum about 6 months ago. It had a new motor just over a year ago. The computer main board was replaced about 3 months ago. The pump was replaced sometime in the last month... So pretty much everything inside this rusting metal box is almost brand new. It just don't run. It's possible to repair... and use it as is.. but would you risk it? So spares... if you need a new drum... here you go... your motor needs new brushes... here you go... your omputer is on the fritz... got a brand new one here. Obviously, you will have to come and get it... its just a waste to give this to the scrappie with so many almost new parts inside...
