Wood noggins, chipboard squares, bannister rail, etc (Oldfield Park BA2)
A load of old but clean wood offcuts found during a garage clear-out. Some painted chipboard squares, an unpainted bannister rail, a bit of skirting board and so on. If you’re art-and-crafty, I’m sure you can think of a million uses for some or all of it but hurry… it’s going in a skip within days!

Swivel wall bracket for big TV (Oldfield Park)
Gifted
Perfect condition wall bracket for TV, complete with selection of differently sized bolts. We used it for a 43” Sony but the bracket allows the fittings to go smaller. Also, I’m pretty sure that TV bracket holes have been standardised across different brands these days.

New and unused spare tyre from an electric scooter that we no longer own. Measurements are in inches and printed on the side of the tyre. Inner tube is included.

Free:
VW Polo footwell carpets, passenger side, 2012 (Oldfield Park BA2)
Withdrawn
These came out of my son’s first car when he replaced them with different colours. His car was a 2011 model, yet the labels on the back of these carpets clearly say 2012. I’d imagine they’re good for most years of Polos.

Freestanding oven, only ever used to bake Fimo arts & crafts (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
When my wife got this in a big bundle of arts and crafts items, the lady told her “I’ve used this lots to bake Fimo clay objects, so I wouldn’t use it to heat up food if I were you.” So I’m passing on that advice now. Fimo is that bake-to-harden craft clay, which doesn’t seem very toxic to me. If you’re not worried about that then this freestanding oven would be fine to heat up pizzas and so on in a flat or bedsit. If you take heed, then Fimo lovers only need apply.

Free:
Doll house, H55cm x L50 x W30cm (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
This was a charity shop find that my wife blinged up for our daughter with a roof heart and a fresh coat of paint. It’s spent a few years gathering dust now, so it’s time to find it a new home.

Free:
Approx 9m (30 foot) of concrete lawn/path edging (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
Concrete lawn edging in some full and some broken sections. There are eight full lengths measuring 5cm x 15cm x 90cm (2” x 6” x 3’) and some shorter broken sections. They’re available until the weekend of June 20th, 21st, after which we’ve got builders starting working, so they’re going to landfill. I can’t deliver but I can give you a hand loading them into your car.

Free:
Garage door and fittings 240cm x 200cm (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
Our 1940s garage is being demolished on June 22nd, which means the 15-year-old up-and-over garage door is destined for the junk yard. This seems a shame since it’s fully functioning, rust free and still looks brand new… apart from the white door needing a clean. Obviously, the clock’s ticking on this one but if you want to come and dismantle it on the weekend of the 19th, 20th or 21st, then please do take it away. The frame is 200cm tall and about 240cm wide, with the door itself about 195 x 233. Probably best to photograph the internals while they’re still fixed to the garage to give you some reference for reassembly. Do come and have a look beforehand if you’re interested.

Free:
3 sets of bicycle pedals (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
One brand new set of flat pedals with ties clips, never been used. One pair of Shimano DX clip-in MTB pedals from the 1990s. I used these for about a million hours of riding, rebuilt them a few times they were STILL working flawlessly when I eventually retired them. Some silver Shimano clip-in pedals. Might be MTB, might be road… I’ve forgotten how to tell the difference. Pick and choose the ones you want or take them all.

Working disc lock with a little carry pouch. Only one key, though. Sorry about that.

Free:
Wall-mounted bike hangers x 2 (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
I don’t own road bikes any more so I’ve no idea why I was holding onto these. These are wall-mounted hangers with a recommended limit of 18kg. Screw one to a solid wall high up, let the black hook grab the front wheel between one of the spokes and your bike will become a beautiful carbon-framed work of art. Come and take both if you can afford two road bikes, otherwise grab one and leave the other for someone else. Either’s good.

Dyson handheld vacuum for spares (Oldfield Park BA2)

Free:
Large pillows, two mattress toppers (Oldfield Park BA2)
Gifted
Used but clean bedding items from spare room in pet and smoke-free house. Ideally, one Freegler should take them all but it’s first come, first served, so if you only want one bit, do ask. The two pillows are about 60cm square. The embroidered one has coloured stripes on the back. The white one with blue stripes has buttons on one side. There’s also a thin M&S single mattress topper as well as a much plusher and thicker double bed mattress topper from Hypnos.

Free:
Relyon single bed - converts to kingsize (Oldfield Park)
Gifted
We’ve changed the loft room from a spare bedroom to an office, which means we no longer need this helpfully versatile Relyon bed. In the format shown in the photos, it’s a regular single bed. However, there’s a second mattress and bed slotted in underneath, which slides out, zips to the first mattress and makes it a kingsize bed. Or, of course, you can just use it as two completely separate single beds. We don’t have the space to show you the option but as you can see, I’ve pulled out the second mattress a little. As a bonus to this modularity, no single piece of it weighs much, so two people can easily carry and move each piece.

Free:
2022 Sephora Advent Calendar box (Oldfield Park)
Gifted
This 40 x 26 x 26cm advent calendar box originally came full of cosmetics, with one gift inside each of the boxes. We've refilled it and reused it a few times but forgot to do it this year and pulled it out of the Christmas cupboard too late. Do you want it for next Christmas? It's in great condition and seems a shame to put it in the recycling, especially since it could just be reused year after year in the right forever home.

Omen trilogy on DVD (Oldfield Park)

It was cheaper to buy these on eBay than it was to rent them from a streaming service so we watched them, loved them and now have no need to keep them. The first one’s amazing still but the third one? Oh boy, what a stinker!

Cuisinart grill/ griddle (Oldfield Park)
Gifted
We got this as a gift from some friends who use theirs all the time but to be honest, we’ve only ever done ham and cheese toasties on it. It’s got a removable grease trap and non-stick hotplates so you can apparently roast veggies, do burgers and sausages and all sorts of other things on it. Good for your kid at college perhaps? It’s all in working order and comes with a recipe book and instruction manual.
