Vintage Tricity 4-Drawer Upright Freezer (Clapham Junction SW11)
As part of a house clearance I am giving away the following: Model: Tricity 3704 "Food Freezer" (now Electrolux) Era: Late 1970s / Early 1980s Condition: Used, but remarkably well-preserved for its age. Looking for a reliable backup freezer or a piece of British appliance history? I’m giving away this classic Tricity 3704. It’s a 4-drawer upright model featuring the original retro brown-tinted drawers with "Meat, Fish, Veg, and Fruit" pictograms. Key Details: • Dimensions: Approximately 85cm (H) x 50cm (W) x 60cm (D) — standard under-counter/utility size. • Build: Made in Great Britain with a robust Northern Compressors ESM 4T unit. • Layout: 4 pull-out drawers for easy organization. • Reliability: These older Tricity models are "built like tanks" compared to modern units. Still in good working order after 40+ years. I have defrosted it and will give it a deep steam clean and disinfection. Important Note: This is a vintage unit using R12 refrigerant. It has been a workhorse for years, but it is heavy and will require two people to move. Location: SW11 2UD Strictly Collection Only: You will need a small van or a car with a large boot.
