Request: White screen for video backdrop (Little Shelford) Does anyone have a white screen they do not use these days? An old-fashioned slide projector screen would be very suitable but anything similar should work well. I want to start making videos and such a screen would make a good backdrop. Thanks, Paul

Free: Maps, guidebooks, etc (Little Shelford) Expired A very extensive collection of maps, guide books, etc, for many places around the world is available. There are far too many to give a complete list; a few examples include Brno, Whitby, Lanzarote, Portugal, Liverpool, Madeira, New York & Switzerland. There are also about 20 Ordnance Survey maps. I would be delighted if all went as one lot but more practical may be for you to contact me with a wish list and I will see whether I have them.

Free: Pallet (Little Shelford) Expired A new wooden pallet, apparently of new wood, was delivered today. If all else fails it would make good firewood but I'd hope it could be built into something such as a compost bin or raised bed.

Free: Akoya Medion Laptop (Little Shelford) Gifted Laptop computer with 2.3GHz dual-core Pentium 4500, 16" screen, 300G disk, 4G RAM. DVD-RW drive, PC-card & SD card readers/writers, VGA, and 4 USB sockets. Silver case. Running Ubuntu Linux 24.04 LTS and has Libre Office installed ready for your documents, spreadsheets etc. There is a Windows Home Premium product key on a sticker underneath but no installation media. A really nice machine. It won't play modern games but is fine for web browsing, office work and the like. Collect from Little Shelford. I built it for a Freecycle requester who seemed quite keen at first but then ignored me completely. Grrr. Collect from Little Shelford.

Request: Three-ring US-style binders (Little Shelford) Expired Anyone have any *3* ring binders such as are widely used in the North American Colonies? Either A4, or more likely, US-letter sized binders would be ideal. Today I received (thanks Tom!) lots of DVDs which are in a ~4" thick pile of 3-ring pocket holders. Although they could be re-housed it seems a shame to do so and thereby add to landfill. Thanks, Paul

Free: Two 1m SCART leads (Little Shelford) Expired I collected some useful stuff from a Freecycle member today. The package contained two 1m SCART leads for which I have no use so they are being re-offered. One is still in the original packaging. Either take both or I will split. Collect from Little Shelford or I may be able to deliver within a reasonable distance from there.

Free: Cupboard tidying units (Little Shelford) Gifted Not quite sure how to describe these but I used them inside kitchen units to help keep spices, etc, both tidy and easily visible above shorter items to their front. One has two turntables, ideal for holding 4-6 spice jars, and can be rotated so each is visible in turn. The other is a raised shelf so that relatively short jars, cans, etc, can be stacked, so making better use of the cupboard space. I used them one atop the other. After a kitchen reorganization they are no longer required here. Collect from Little Shelford.

Free: Dual-dish cat food bowls (Little Shelford) Gifted Cat feeding plastic bowls, each with two dishes. They will work for any small animal of course. Two red ones with 2x12cm bowls.
