Free: Size 8 (UK), Continental 42, leather upper & soled Brogues, (Portobello EH15) Gifted One pair black, one pair brown, of "dress Brogue" shoes that my podiatrist says are too narrow for my broad feet so they've been replaced after a couple of painful evenings. The replacements are doing just fine. My last listing went wrong.

Free: Large mugs (Portobello EH15) Gifted A half-dozen white unmarked porcelain mugs big enough to take a 400ml tin of soup. They fit under most coffee machines. There are no chipped rims or other damage. I have enough bubble wrap to protect each one in transit. These have to go because I no longer have room for them. They are being replaced by clear glass mugs.

Free: "Dress" Brogue Leather shoes. Shoes size 8 (Portobello EH15) Withdrawn 2 pairs: 1 pair black, 1 pair brown. Worn twice each at shindigs sporting my kilt (not up for freegling), but to say the least uncomfortable as I have broad feet not unlike a duck. My podiatrist said these shoes had to go to prevent distortion, so I bought shoes with a much broader fit and these narrower ones are up for disposal. I don't want my house turned into a shoe showroom and there's no way I'll accept the excuse that the details hadn't been read. These are size 8, narrow fit leather shoes to be taken, not returned. Otherwise, on the 6th January, they go to a local charity shop.

Free: Backpack. (Portobello EH15) Gifted Grey, as you can see from the photos. Used a couple of times, but the bag on the back of my wheelchair or mobility scooter holds a lot more stuff and I'm not supposed to put anything on my back. It has three separate zipped main compartments and an intriguing internal one that could hold a small "tablet" or iPad. The rest of the outside comprises of two compartments for water bottles/Irn Bru cans or worse. Not to mention the criss-crossed matching cords which are very impressive although I have no idea of their purpose. No interest by the New Year and it's going to the Charity Shop.

Free: Framed prints of "old masters" paintings. 7 to go as 1 batch (Portobello EH15) Gifted All frames 64cm wide by 47cm high in light oak. Constable's "The Haywain", Turner's "The fighting Temeraire" and "Bell Rock Lighthouse", a view of Florence and another by Canaletto, and two Breughels, one of the Tower of Babel and the other a riverside town scene. I have bought more "exotic" replacements, and just don't have room for them in my flat. It wouldn't bother me if a Freegler only wanted the frames & scrapped the prints.

Free: Cooking/carving pair of utensils with wooden handles. (Portobello EH15) Withdrawn Ideal for cutting up a roast, these are practical but are a copy of my stainless steel kit. I don't need both, so these are "up for grabs".

Free: Lightweight shed/shelter. (Portobello EH15) Gifted Used tubular framed shed with tarpaulin type covers. I have replaced it with a metal shed. It is large enough to take my big mobility scooter, a range of gardening stuff, a BBQ and still more space, being 2.20 metres long by 1.60 metres wide. I don't have the assembly instructions, so I'd suggest taking some photos before disassembling it for transport in a car.

Free: Drainers/Strainers? (Portobello EH15) Gifted 2 items, I'd prefer to go together. One is a unit designed for it's contents to be drained into a sink, the larger is a sot of glorified coleander, if that's a word; See the photos. One can fit in the other.

Free: Electric knife sharpener. (Portobello EH15) Gifted Salter electric knife sharpener in full working order. There are 4 whetstone wheels, the coarsest pair on the left, finest pair on the right. These allow you to sharpen blades on either one or both sides. I'm using a different method to sharpen my knives.

Free: Laundry basket (Portobello EH15) Gifted Red rigid plastic laundry basket which is indestructible, and large enough at (internal dimensions) 53cm long x 28cm wide x 24cm deep to give anyone a hernia when fully loaded with wet washing, so take it at your peril.

Free: Set of cooking utensils (Portobello EH15) Gifted Black, almost like rubber, range of cooking utensils, ideal for dealing with traditional non-stick pots & pans. I'm changing to Titanium.

Free: Lot of food storage containers. (Portobello EH15) Gifted 4 small (7cm dia x 6cm) glass jars with lids, 3 medium (16 x 10 x 6cm) Sistema boxes, 3 large (22 x 15 x 6cm) Sistema boxes and 4 large (28 x 20 x 5cm) boxes, all suitable for freezing "batch cooking" or simply preserving leftovers. 14 containers in all, all in perfect condition. I have replaced most with stainless steel equivalents and haven't got the space to store these perfectly good containers. Collection either from now until tomorrow mid-day, or after afternoon Sunday.

Free: Stainless Steel chopping boards. (Portobello EH15) Gifted 20cm, 30cm, and 40cm "chopping boards" in stainless steel (SUS304) that I have replaced with titanium (£££). Stainless steel is already miles ahead of plastic & wood as a hygienic operating surface and is only second to titanium. I've invested in THE best and am offering my SUS304 chopping boards on Freegle..

Free: Matching set of pots & pans. (Portobello EH15) Gifted 7 pots & pans in total. Two frying pans, one 25cm, the other 28cm with a glass lid. Five pots, the smallest 14cm, the next 16cm, then the 18cm, 20cm and 28cm all with glass lids. These are an Aldi range from about 3 years ago, are in close to perfect condition (the alleged non-stick has never worked for me) and have no knocks or blemishes that I can see. The only reason I am offering them on Freegle instead of selling them on E-bay or giving them to a Charity shop is that I'm disabled and I can't transport them. I'd be obliged if Freeglers who want these pots & pans tell me why they want them (not just to re-sell) so I can decide to whom they should go.

Free: Cables & all sorts of other computer related items. (Portobello EH15) Gifted This is a "drawer clearance" including some rechargeable AA batteries & chargers, a floppy disc reader, a "mini" mouse, a clip-on desk cam, a mini tripod, USB hubs and all sorts of USB cables with different end fittings but including USB B and USB C cables. There are some audio jack cables. The taker will please take the lot and sort out what they want at home.

Free: Wireless AZERTY (French) keyboard & mouse for PCs. (Portobello EH15) Gifted One is a Dell wireless keyboard & mouse, the other a Trust set. Both with the USB receiver, and both with new batteries. They are both in full working order. I have moved to Apple MAC systems with AZERTY as I prefer the keyboard with the extra accented letters instead of QWERTY.

Free: Wooden shelving (Portobello EH15) Gifted When screwed together, this 5-shelve unit measures 75cm wide, 27cm deep, and 170cm high. It is in varnished pine. Each shelf is attached to the uprights by eight screws, and all the 40 screws will be supplied. I forgot to take a photo of it assembled, but I hope these photos give an idea of what's on offer.

Free: "Lightning" Apple to USB connection cables (Portobello EH15) Gifted At least 6 and probably more "Lightning" to USB cables which I no longer need as Apple has decided to move to USB - C connectors for the latest products and I have spent a fortune updating my phone & iPad. I don't want to send them all to the bin.

Free: "Pedal Puller" (Portobello EH15) Expired You put your feet in the "pedals" and pull on the handle so it can exercise your leg or arm muscles. The "pedals" and the handle are connected by rubber tubes that you have to stretch. I bought 2 versions for a friend to choose which they preferred and they chose the stronger version. This is the less strenuous version.

Free: Ceiling lampshades (Portobello EH15) Gifted A pair of dark grey coloured lampshades. Available from mid-day tomorrow, Monday, as the second will be replaced tomorrow morning. They each have the adapter to convert from UK "bayonet" bulb fitting to screw fitting. Anybody who wants them will have to collect them before Thursday evening, as I am not available from then until the beginning of April.

Free: Lampshades (Portobello EH15) Gifted 15cm diameter x 17cm high lampshades left by the previous owners of my property. The lampshades originated from B&Q in the not-too-distant past, as they have the adaptor ring for B22 (bayonet) bulbs which can be removed to fit E27 mountings. 42watt old style bulbs maximum!

Free: Shower chair (Portobello EH15) Gifted As can be seen from the photos, this is foldable whilst not in use. The height is adjustable and the back support can be dismounted. This chair has only been used twice, and shows no signs of wear & tear. Although it can be folded (and is folded) for transport, I would not recommend trying to take it on Lothian busses unless you are very fit or impervious to criticism, particularly from people with prams/pushchairs. Wheelchair users and other disabled travellers, on the other hand, will appreciate its significance and accommodate it as best they can.

Free: Plastic & metal seat for shower. (Portobello EH15) Gifted Seat with adjustable height legs to go in a shower or wet room. This is the bigger one of the two I brought from my last house and I don't need both!

Free: Half-a-dozen tea/coffee mugs (Portobello EH15) Gifted These are roughly half-pint, (quarter litre) capacity mugs. They do not come with a mug rack. The rack disappeared many moons ago. For transporting (carrying) they are in a protective foam insert in a cardboard box.

Free: Kitchen sink drying rack. (Portobello EH15) Gifted Rack for stacking dishes, cutlery and even empty bottles when you haven't got a dishwasher. This one comes with a drip tray and the unit can be unscrewed/dismantled for ease of transport - but don't lose the nuts! This one is too big to go on the kitchen drainer in my new flat, unfortunately.

Free: Twin pedal bin (Portobello EH15) Gifted Stainless steel (& black plastic interiors) two 30 litre compartment pedal bin with some 30 litre sacs. This was essential in my old house, but is too big for this flat.

Free: 40 inch “Smart” TV (Portobello EH15) Gifted Cello 40 inch TV with remote. It won’t bluetooth “pair” with anything other than its own remote, but otherwise it works perfectly on wi-fi for Netflix, I-Players,etc.

Free: Molecular model kit (Portobello EH15) Gifted Probably only of interest to science teachers and students, this kit was produced by Prentice-Hall Inc in the USA and there not many privately owned in the UK. It contains all the means to model (for instance) extensive carbon-chain molecules.

Free: Bedside table (Portobello EH15) Gifted Bedside table in medium oak coloured wood with a drawer and a white patterned "formica?" top. The measurements are: 380cm wide, 300cm deep and 610cm high. The photo is a close-up which has distorted the shape!
