Solar eclipse glasses (Birkby HD1) Please, can anyone help us? ❤️☀️ I’m really hoping someone in Birkby or nearby might be able to help. I’ve been trying to find proper solar eclipse glasses since Sunday, but unfortunately I’ve had no luck. I was in hospital with my little boy and, with everything that’s been happening, I completely lost track of everything. My little one recently collapsed and was in hospital, and doctors are investigating possible non-epileptic seizures, so it’s been an incredibly stressful few days for our family. 💔 I’ve searched everywhere for eclipse glasses, but everything is either out of stock, or delivery isn’t until Thursday or Sunday — which is too late. My older son absolutely loves space. He has his own telescope at home and is fascinated by anything to do with astronomy. 🌌🔭❤️ He has been so excited about seeing the eclipse, and I would really love for him to experience it safely. I’m desperately hoping that maybe someone has 1 or 2 spare pairs of proper solar eclipse glasses that we could collect today or tomorrow morning. I would be incredibly grateful for them. ❤️🙏 If anyone has a spare pair, or knows anywhere local that still has some available, please comment or message me. I can collect from Birkby or anywhere nearby. Electric typewriter (Birkby HD1) Received Hello, I’m starting school next week and I would really love to have an electric typewriter to help me with my studies. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a laptop right now – I have two children and my priority is to buy the things they need first. So I wanted to ask kindly if anyone might have an unused electric typewriter at home that they would be willing to donate. It would mean a lot to me and help me greatly. Microwave (Birkby HD1) Received Good evening we are small family with 2 small boys, we had microwave but is stop working (my boys going to surgery one with remove his teeth (8 or 10) and next should be other surgery and oldest one will go with tonsils for 2nd time ) and was wondering if anyone has anything to gift / unneeded microwave?
