Free: (Worn out) log burning stove (Cleedownton SY8) Gifted This stove is pretty well worn out but maybe someone will have a use for it if only as a decorative feature. It is circa 30 years old and the firebricks are well worn and grate has started to collapse. I did think I might be able to replace the internals but I don’t think the parts are available and when I tried to take the top off one of the bolts sheared so I don’t think the stove can be taken apart anyway. I’ll put the flue parts on a separate freegle listing

Free: Mole traps (Racan Claw) (Cleedownton SY8) Gifted Mole traps (3) as per picture. I don't seem to get on with these (I prefer the more traditional type of trap).

Free: A4 ring binders (Cleedownton SY8) Expired As per picture. These have been sitting in a loft for several years so need a bit of a clean up but on a quick check they all appear sound and open/shut as expected.

Free: (Carbon) water filters (Cleedownton SY8) Gifted The first is unused (though I've had it for ages). It is notionally for use on a bicycle but could be handheld. In theory you can fill it with stream water and then the carbon filter will get rid of any impurities or bugs. It should be possible to read all the info on the small print The second filter was used on a trip to Vietnam some years ago when we didn't trust the tap water (in rather remote locations). Similar idea to first filter - you fill it with 'dubious' water which is then forced through a carbon filter. Quantity processed each time is quite small.

Request: (Old) carpet to keep weeds down on veg patch (Cleedownton SY8) Received Anyone got some unwanted (old) carpet? We use it to cover bare patches on the veg patch to stop weeds growing. Large bits or long bits are most useful. If you're having some carpet replaced then by arrangement I can come when it is being done. We're between Ludlow and Bridgnorth and not keen to drive a huge distance but happy to collect from Ludlow / Bridgnorth / Craven Arms / Cleobury Mortimer area
