In my youth, I played the flute. I no longer have one, but I would like to rekindle my interest. I know that many people take up instruments and then give up after a short while, particularly school kids. Has anyone got an old flute lying around they no longer need? I would be very grateful if some one has one that I can take off their hands.

Works, but makes clunking sound. Spin cycle is extremely noisy and not very effective. Clothes come out wet. My guess is there is either something stuck between the inner and outer drum, or there is a problem with the bearings. Did a wash today, but had to wring out the clothes. Could be fixable?
