Dining table and 4 chairs (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
This hardwood table is about 40 years old. The top has been sanded and painted to show the grain. It would be easy the paint the top a single colour. It has a style of the era - possibly timeless elegance! Top is 136 x 75 cm. Height is 73 cm. Chairs are 108 cm high and there are 4 although I only show one.

Kneeling seat for posture (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
Gifted
This is designed to improve posture or help with a bad back. You sit on the higher pad and rest your knees or upper shins on the lower pad. It’s remarkably comfortable and gives very little pressure on knees. Great for working at a desk. This is listed under fair choice so I’ll wait a day after posting before confirming the recipient.

Toy steam engines (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
Gifted
Two stationary steam engines for education and (adult supervised) fun. I believe these are made by Mamod. They require methylated spirits or solid fuel. They would benefit from cleaning and if you repainted the base, they’ll be truly yours! Note - these are offered under the Trash Nothing Fair Chance Policy which means I’ll choose 24 h after posting and you’ll not hear until then.

Hardwood posts etc (Dorchester on Thames OX10)

Several pieces of mainly tropical hardwood (not sure what types) and some oak. I was given these several years ago and believe they belonged to a carpenter. You can see the rough dimensions by comparing with the metre ruler. Really useful for projects and repairs.

Small Georgian Mahogany Table (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
Gifted
Small Georgian Mahogany Tip-Top Tripod Table. I cannot be certain this is mahogany of Georgian but other similar examples fit this description. It is structurally solid. The table is 35 1/2 inches (900 mm) wide and 29 1/2 inches (750 mm) high. There is water damage to the top (see photos). This is only a change to the colour - looks like leaky vase or similar. It’s possible the water damage could be restored. When this was used, the discolouration was hidden by placing items on top. The top is approx 21 mm thick.

Antique Georgian corner cupboard (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
Gifted
This is a lovely antique oak corner cupboard. With its raised panel door style it is believed to be Georgian but cannot be guaranteed to be precisely from that time. The old oak has darkened and been waxed over many years, giving it a warm and inviting finish. It is not perfect as the main door panel has a split, probably due to the panel binding at one time in the door frame. This split has an antique repair with wooden strips bracing the back of the door. One of these was done with what look like hand made nails, the tips of which can be just seen on the front of the door but perhaps due to their old patina, are barely noticeable and look in keeping with the piece. I did not notice these for many years until I checked thoroughly for this listing on. It is solid and strong. It features three shelves. It looks like there was a fourth, top shelf once. It has two highly decorative brass hinges. There is a key for a a lock with a decorative brass escutcheon. Measuring 42 inches in height and 24.5 inches in width (28 inches for top molding), this wall-mounted cupboard is an original piece and is thought to have been manufactured in the early to mid-1800s. Its depth from front to back corner is 12.5 inches, and it has hinges on the right-hand side. This antique corner cupboard is a fantastic example of Georgian style and because of / despite the ancient repairs is sure to be a talking point in any home.

Electric lawn mower (Dorchester on Thames OX10)
Gifted
Hayter Envoy - good size for an average garden. Plenty of cable! It was top of the range in its day. I guess 20 years old. Missing a spring loaded ‘deflector plate’ so not wise to use without the grass collector. Otherwise works perfectly. I’ll sharpen cutter and give a clean before anyone takes it.
