Free: firewire cables/hubs (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) It's the end of an era. I've mustered out my last Firewire device. Giving away a bunch of cables and hubs if anybody needs them. (Or anybody who is just nostalgic for 20+ year old computer technology.)

Free: Hoover handheld vac, needs battery (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) Hoover 300 series cordless wet-dry handheld vacuum. With all accessories (charger, wall mount, wet nozzle and crevice nozzle). Needs a new battery. I have already replaced the battery once. You can find replacement NiCd batteries online for ~$25. The charger tends to overcharge the battery if you leave it plugged in. And NiCd batteries self-discharge over time if you don't plug it in. This vacuum works best if you use it frequently, which we don't. So we end up either wearing down the battery by overcharging or leaving it out of the charger and then not having a charge when we need it.

Free: Small CFL light bulbs (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) 5 Sylvania 14W dimmable CFL bulbs. These are on the smaller size for fitting inside light fixtures.

Free: Panasonic SA-HE100 AVR - OVERLOAD (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) Panasonic SA-HE100 AV Receiver, 2003 model with 5.1 surround. Analog and digital optical inputs, no HDMI. Started displaying an overload error within a few minutes of use. Seems to work OK with only 2 speakers connected, but don't know how long this will last. Some people have traced this to a malfunctioning IC601 MOSFET. (/) There is a long thread here about how to replace 1-2 MOSFET's to fix this on the SA-HE200 (the more expensive sibling to the SA-HE100). / The same approach may work on the SE-HE100. This is all beyond my skillset. If you want to try (or are just looking for free DSP parts) you can have this unit for free.

Free: ceiling fan with missing blade iron (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) Hunter Stratford II ceiling fan with light, 44" reversible blades white/faux wood originally purchased in 2009, Energy Star rated at the time Broke one of the blade irons, see pictures. I couldn't find a replacement blade iron, so we replaced the whole fan. Electromechanically it is in perfect condition, but with one blade missing it is imbalanced. Includes all parts shown in pictures. You can: -Try to find a matching replacement blade iron. -Try find a set of 5 blade irons that are bolt hole compatible so you can replace all the blades -Use this for parts

Free: 100W equivalent LED light bulb (Fremont-Sundale/28 Palms) Gifted Phillips 1600 Lumen light bulb. Big and heavy. Best for lamps with large shades. Also gets quite warm (not like an incandescent but still too hot to touch.)
