COLLECTION PENDING - Reclaimed Railway Sleepers (Eaton NR4)
Collection is pending off Freegle (Friday). If any are left, I will offer to the other people who responded, in the order they contacted me (there are 14 in the waitlist). These reclaimed railway sleepers had been used to create raised beds. There are 13 available plus a few smaller offcuts. They are all 1.2-1.28m x 24-30cm x 12-13cm. They all have at least some signs of rot. 8 or 9 are in better condition than the rest, but even the worst has some life left in it. They are VERY heavy and currently sitting at the far end of the garden. We will not be able to provide much assistance in moving them – we’re still recovering from getting them out of the ground! Rug and Carpets for Allotment / Weed Suppression? (Eaton NR4)

I have a rug and 2 pieces of carpet we received recently via Freegle. We were collecting bits to cover our floors while the house was renovated. In the end we used the rug but not the carpets. The rug is green, 2.37m x 1.68m, short pile. It's clean but quite worn (threadbare in places). There are a couple of stains that don't show against the pattern. This has been rolled, so it's 1.68m long. The carpets came from a garage gym and had been lifted and stored for a while. They are quite dusty but seem less worn than the rug. There are 2 pieces, 3.1 x 2.7m and 2.8 x 2.7m (approx.). They have been folded into pieces 80 x 95cm. These are all worn but holding together well. Perhaps useful as a temporary carpet solution or for suppressing weeds. Collection from Eaton Rise, NORWICH (NR4).

Extending Curtain Poles (Eaton NR4)

I have available 2 extending curtain poles. The longer one has a 16/19mm diameter pole which extends from about 1.75 - 3.35m. It comes with 6 brackets and 2, 50mm ball finials. The shorter one has a 23/26mm diameter pole and extends from 1.15 - 2.3m. It comes with 5 brackets and 2, 70mm ball finials. Both sets show signs of wear and could do with a thorough clean, but they have plenty of life left in them. I will split, if necessary. FOP applies, so I'll wait at least a day before offering.

This is a woven rug (no pile), approx, 1.2m x 1.7m. It's done service in the eaves storage but is now relegated to the garage (temporarily) while it waits for a new home. There are a couple of minor marks, but no worn patches.

3 Suitcases (Eaton NR4)

3 suitcases looking for some new travel buddies. All have 2 fixed wheels and 2 legs, a fixed handle to the top and side, and an extendable handle at the top. There are no locks, but each zip could be padlocked (not included). The small one isn't part of the original set, but they all fit inside each other. Sizes: 48 x 33 x 19.5cm (small), 58 x 49 x 20.5cm (medium), 77.5 x 53.5 x 26.5cm (large). All measurements include legs and handles (in closed position). Note: one leg on the largest case is loose but still attached. All are clean and tidy, the wheels and zips all work, although the zips can be stiff around the corners.

This came as a godsend from Freegle about 3 years ago, so it's only fair to release it back, now I don't need it anymore. It measures 50cm x 100cm x 42.5cm high. The tabletop is worn and marked but the table is solid with lots of life left in it. Please note: I generally leave it 24 hours before replying to enquiries, to give everyone a fair chance.

Framed Glazed Prints De Havilland Dove Heron In Flight (Eaton NR4)

This is a pair of framed and glazed prints of de Havilland aircraft in flight – Dove and Heron. Both pictures are prints on cream card with wide borders. They do not have separate mounts. The borders are foxed, but this could be covered with a suitable mount. The frames are wooden (possibly stained oak). The frames have age-related wear. Size: • Frame: 69cm W x 54cm H • Image: 42.5cm W x 31cm H The owner was a retired aircraft engineer. He told me these pictures came from the boardroom at the de Havilland headquarters and were given to him by the area manager when the building was closed down. He thought they were made to commemorate first flights. 1. The de Havilland Dove • The Dove is marked ‘Wooton’ in the bottom left corner of the image but is not dated. • The glass is in good condition. • There are a couple of marks on the image (see photos) 2. The de Havilland Heron • The Heron has no identifying marks on the image or the frame. • The glazing has a couple of cracks that I couldn’t catch on camera.

This is a small touch table lamp in brushed chrome and crystal (probably acrylic) with a pleated cream shade. There were originally 2, so there is a spare shade. Height 33.5cm. Diameter of base 10cm. Maximum diameter of shade 17cm.

Unholstered footstool with storage (Eaton NR4)

This is a large unholstered footstool with wooden feet. The top section is hinged to allow access to a storage space inside. The top measures 63 x 51 cm. The bottom section is slightly padded, so the full measurements are 67 x 55 x 15cm high. The storage space interior is 57 x 46 x 16.5cm high. This was originally a Freegle find, and I intended to reupholster it but never got around to it. The fabric is quite worn with a small hole in the top (see photos). However, it's a sturdy thing and the fire label is still attached.

‘Night Owl’ Duck Feather & Down Continental Quilt 10.5 tog (Eaton NR4)

This is an old, heavy, quilt which has been stored for several years. It was dry-cleaned before being stored but still has some marks. Having said that, it is a good-quality quilt, cassette quilted / baffle-boxed to create individual ‘boxes’ of filling, so the filling is evenly distributed (rather than fixed square / sewn through construction). It is still in good condition, with no holes. Could be used as intended, or as a dog bed. Double, 200 x 200cm. Dry clean only.

Pair of curtains 229cm drop x 220cm width (each curtain) (Eaton NR4)

These are heavyweight, lined curtains with a standard header (and most of the curtain hooks). They used to hang across our patio doors before we enlarged the doorway. They are in very good condition with just a little fading along the opening edge of each curtain. If they were hung on opposite sides of the window, it wouldn't be noticeable. They come with a pair of tiebacks, which are more faded than the curtains. The label is barely legible, so I don't know the brand. Dry clean only.
