Free: Kefir “grains” (north Lake City) Giving-away starter amounts (about ¼ cup) of kefir “grains.” The culture is a commensal of yeast & bacteria species rather like a kombucha “SCOBY,” and will turn ordinary milk into a delicious, very-healthful drink in a day or so. The organisms in kefir are some of *the* best probiotics and help significantly in adjusting and balancing the human gut biome (i.e., after a course of antibiotics) and suppressing overgrowths of candida and anaerobes. What you make at home is *far* better (and better for you) than the store-bought variety. There’s tons of information on the Web, or I can tell you everything you need to know. (And it’s pronounced keh-FEER. I called it KEE-fr for decades tho.)

The phone we’d planned to use is too old and not compatible with AT&T’s network. Phones branded for AT&T, U.S. Mobile, Red Pocket, Cricket, Straight Talk, and H2O Wireless will all work, as well as handsets that are vendor-unlocked.

Free: Kefir “grains” (north Lake City) Expired Offering 1⁄4 cup ± of kefir “grains” for culturing your own milk kefir. If you’ve never done this, it is *very* easy — easier than yogurt — and much better than the stuff you get at the grocery. Kefir is some of the very best probiotics, excellent for anyone wishing to support their gut health, and chilled kefir is wonderful on a hot day or after exercise. I live in north Lake City, a mile north of the Lake City business area and convenient to three or four bus lines, or there’s free pick-up parking in front of the building. I’m here most days & evenings. (And I have plenty, so no need to ask whether the offer is available.)

Free: Milk-Kefir “Grains” (north Lake City) Expired I have half-a-dozen small jars of frozen kefir grains. These were grown in (mostly) organic and/or A2 milk. They can remain frozen until you're ready to start your own culture. Plenty of info online about how to use them, and I can also share what I've found useful over the years. Free: Basic GE window A/C (north Lake City) Gifted 17 inches long, 12" high, 13" deep. Backside fins are in good shape. Works well, I just don't need it anymore and it's taking-up space. It's a little dusty, but I'll give it a good de-griming before anyone takes it. Not sure if I have the side baffles typical of this kind of unit, but will look. I'll carry it to your car.
