Working phone of any kind, urgently needed for homeless (Two Mile Ash MK8)
Hi! Does anyone have a spare mobile phone they would be willing to part with for a good cause? I am trying to help a homeless gentleman but his lack of phone is making it impossible. I have a Smarty SIM with credit to pop in it but have nothing to put it in. Can be a basic burner style phone or an old android or iPhone - anything will do. It just needs to work, hold charge, and not being locked to a specific network. Can collect from anywhere in Milton Keynes on a day or time convenient to you, but I would really like to get it sorted asap so if anyone can help please do get in touch! Thanks in advance.

Raspberry Pi for ex-homeless gentleman (Wolverton MK12)
Hi Freeglers! Does anyone happen to have a spare / no longer used Raspberry Pi computer at all? Can be any age, generation or condition. Even if nobody functioning I may be able to do basic repairs. Perhaps it sounds like a big ask, but most of the older Pi's have lost a lot of their value so perhaps you have upgraded yours as at some point and may be willing to part with an older generation one? I have a Pi-Top kit that allows a Raspberry Pi to be converted into a basic laptop. It has a dock, battery and a screen basically but I don't have a RPi to drive it right now. I have been helping a homeless gentleman get back on his feet for the last few months. He was given a housing association flat and I've helped get hold of various white goods, a microwave and a sofa so far. I'd very much like to get him some kind of computer so he can get online and work on applying for other benefits and maybe even work one day. Making use of the Pi-Top kit I have felt like a good route to do that and I'm happy to donate it to him. I just need a Pi of some kind to get it running! Any help would be much appreciated!! Can collect from anywhere in or near Milton Keynes at a day and time that is convenient to you. Whatever I can do to make it possible I will do! Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any of microwave of any kind going spare at all? Anything will do, new or old. It just needs to work properly! Asking in order to help a recently housed homeless friend. Furthermore, if anyone has any spare cutlery and/or dinner plates and bowls in good, usable condition then they would be of massive help to someone with a chance of getting back on their feet. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help!

Hi Freeglers. I have been helping someone that has recently been given a studio flat after several years of street homelessness. He is starting with nearly nothing but we've managed to source lots of the essentials to give him the best start possible. However, the property currently has no working hot water. The gas is capped off due to long term unpaid bills and the electric immersion heater isn't switching on at all - I guess the element has probably corroded or something. This has all been reported and will hopefully be sorted in the coming weeks but in the meantime I'm hoping to source two kettles so he can heat some water for washing dishes and himself. Obviously this won't be ideal but it's the only solution I can think of in the short term. Does anyone have a working kettle they can spare? Doesn't need to be anything special but the larger the capacity the better I'd think. We are Neath Hill (MK14) based but I can arrange collection from anywhere in the Milton Keynes area. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!
