Add ice and water and turn it on to quickly cool a wine bottle. Worked pretty well but we've only ever used it a few times. Some of the rubber rings that grip the bottle to rotate it have perished and broken off, but not sure if it's vital to spin it anyway.

Hoover 6kg load washing machine. Approx ten years old. Works, but doesn't always drain. Someone handy might be able to fix, or someone willing to persevere with it! Usually running the drain cycle again will sort it, but sometimes this needs to be done a few times and I'm fed up with it!
