Broken-hinge clothes airer (Brownsover CV21)
Must be a couple of decades old. Approx 1m40cm high when standing up, say a couple of feet wide and 18 ins across. Sorry about mixed measures.... Get in touch if accurate measurements would make a different to whether it's of interest. Would be fine for anyone who: -Could work out how to fix/replace the mangled hinge (this is what stops the airer standing); or -Could use the metal tubing (some rubber-covered) for some other purpose.

Dementia-friendly jigsaw (Brownsover CV21)
Expired
For an elderly relative who used to be a jigsaw fan but is getting more confused. Does anyone have one of those large-piece, not too many pieces, jigsaws that they no longer have a need for? Thanks.

Breville Coffee Machine (Brownsover CV21)
Gifted
Breville "Cafe Style" espresso-cappuccino machine. We were given this to sell at our RNLI jumble trail stall by a neighbour, who believed it to be new and complete, though the box is somewhat crumpled. Turns out the handle for the filter container is missing (seen sticking out horizontally on the first picture) but someone a bit handy could surely find an answer to that. This makes it unsellable, we suppose, so would now be happy to shift it, but the tip solution seems a waste if the machine can do a job for someone. We haven't tried it out as it's otherwise in apparently new condition, with the two cups and saucers, jug, etc included. Haven't been able to find this model on the web, so guess it's a discontinued style.

Depilatory wax (natural) (Brownsover CV21)
Expired
Very old (probably decades) but untouched - bought mistakenly thinking it was cream, enticed by its "cruelty free" and "natural" status, so has lived for years at the back of a cupboard. The wax and liquid have separated out a bit but I guess they could be stirred back together. Comes with spatula and strips.

Baking Tray (Brownsover CV21)
Expired
As shown in photo, well used and some burning-on, though is clean otherwise. Twelve inches (about 30cm) square. Not recommended for baking now as one side has a break which lets liquids escape, and bit creased. A handy piece of aluminium for re-use, though.

Handle for coffee maker coffee scoop (Brownsover CV21)
Expired
Breville espresso-cappuccino machine is new (I was assured by the person who gave it to me to sell on my RNLI stall) but is missing the handle for holding/retrieving the small scoop/holder - see photo of front of box, where it's shown protruding horizontally from the machine. Do you have one from, say, a no-longer working machine that could restore this one to a saleable condition?

Dining table (leg loose but fixable) (Brownsover CV21)
Expired
Table top is made of something like MDF with a veneer of something plastic-like, so overall wood appearance. Closed size 118 cm by 80 cm. With both leaves (35 cm each) drawn out, 188 cm by 80cm. Height at table top 76 cm. One leg needs a hefty glue and screw/bolt job to re-attach it - the near right corner in the first pic is just balancing on it. Then it would be a perfectly serviceable table which looks fine with a table cloth over it so you can't see the heat ring, scratches and scuffs. Underneath labels say "T 55 a Teak", which I presume is the model reference and "Made in FDR", so it's a proper period piece...! Alternatively you could pull it apart and use the pieces for other purposes - the frame and legs are wooden. Needs to be collected from us as soon as you can - seems a shame to take it all in pieces to the tip, but that's its destiny unless someone can use it.

Anyone still use these? Or got some other use than holding videos? Unopened pack of four (brown) plus an odd one in a different shade.

HP Scanjet 5300C scanner (Brownsover CV21)
Gifted
A 1200-dpi colour scanner. Was working last time we tried it but since we upgraded from Windows XP we don't have the drivers for it. We're guessing you'd either need XP or older to run it or else have the skill to write drivers, as well as the right type of connectors for your computer (photos). Theoretically it scans, copies, emails and faxes (ooohhh - remember faxes....). Pale fawny grey, as in photo. Size 49 cm x 30 cm, depth 6cm. We're searching for the user instructions booklet....
