Ladder stabiliser (East Hendred OX12)
This is an Ankalad ladder stabiliser which you see the details of on this website: . Please note that this version (probably older than the version on the website) does not have the bar between the two horizontal parts of the legs shown in some of the pictures. It is in working order and complete with all the fixings required to attach it to an aluminium ladder. Please do ask if you have any questions.

Base of a garden umbrella stand (East Hendred OX12)

This is the base of a garden umbrella stand. Each of the two cross pieces is 1m long. Something needs to be bolted to the four holes shown to support an umbrella or whatever you want to support so this won't work as an umbrella stand as it is, it would need some adapting. The two pieces slot together and so come apart very easily for storage.

Single, pocket-sprung mattress, very good condition (East Hendred OX12)

This is a standard sized, single bed mattress that was originally one of a pair (it has a discrete zip down one side for this purpose, no redundant). Although it is quite a few years old, it is in very good condition. Apart from the fluffy bit covering one of the buttons (2nd row from the top), I can't see any marks of any sort. My wife, who is very light, has taken very good care of it. There have definitely been no 'accidents' on it! It has four carrying handles with vents on each side. The label says 2000 springs which I think is for the two mattresses combined so this single would presumably have 1000 individual pocket springs. It has a fire safety label shown in the photo.

Clarke 6 inch metal grinding wheel (East Hendred OX12)

This is a 6" bench grinder / metal grinding wheel with a coarse and finer wheel by Clarke. It is in full working order. It needs clamping / screwing down when in operation otherwise it migrates across the surface. There are four screw holes for this purpose. One speed. The transparent plastic safety shields that mounted on hinges above each wheel are missing and so safety glasses are essential when using it.

Painting roller kit (un-used) (East Hendred OX12)

This is a small painting roller kit with some sort of edge device which flicks round to the end of the roller, presumably to help paint into corners to avoid the end of the roller smearing the adjacent wall. There is a button on the yellow handle which rotates the arm holding the black 'shield' by 90 degrees to avoid the end of the roller touching anything. I only presume because it has never been used. The back of the box is slightly discoloured.

Gold(colour)-plated bath taps (East Hendred OX12)

These were removed from a bath when the bath was replaced with a shower. The taps are fully functional. They are quite old - they were in the house when we bought it in 1998 and we replaced the bath last year. I would say the conditional is reasonable but they have clearly been used. The front of the taps has been kept in better condition than the back (next to the tiled wall) which can be seen from the photos.

Metal water containers with taps (East Hendred OX12)

There are two metal water containers with taps. I think they might be stainless steel but I'm not sure. The lids fit very neatly and tightly. I used them to heat water for washing up while running a modest sized camp hence they are blackened on the bottom and sides from the soot from the fire. They would probably clean up if you needed.

Petrol lamps, stove and gas light (East Hendred OX12)

There are three petrol lamps, all made my Coleman. They were all working when last used which is now a few years ago. Two of them are two-mantle lights and the other single mantle. Some of the mantles might need replacing and there are several new mantles included. The older (green) one requires a starter using meths and there is a little squeezy bottle to deliver the meths into the circular reservoir below the mantle which is fun to do. There is a CampingGaz light which runs off a gas cylinder. Lastly there is a Coleman petrol stove which needs a little bit of fixing.

Ladder roof hooks (East Hendred OX12)

Pair of ladder roof hooks. They attach to the end of a ladder and hook over the top of the roof ridge. The wheels are to help push the ladder up the roof over the tiles, when the hook end is over the ridge, you flip the ladder over to hook onto the ridge. Please note there are no fixing bolts with these, I've lost them.

This is a plastic water butt with lid. It stands about 3ft tall and is about 2ft in diameter. It has a whole cut in the lid to accommodate the downpipe to fill it and it has a tap near the bottom with a length of hosepipe. Any questions, please ask.
