Free: 3/4 HP AC Electric Motor (Richmond) Old Badger Insinkerator containing 3/4 HP AC electric motor. The unit was leaking water out the bottom, but motor still works and spun the insinkerator. Frequently drive to Daly City/San Francisco and could possibly deliver.

Free: Small DC Electric Motor (Richmond) Was powered by 4 AA batteries - was used in an electric mop that I dismantled so it could be recycled - expect that the motor works, but it might not. Please, feel free to suggest what I can do with this other than putting in the trash. I might deliver to other locations. I often drive to San Francisco and Daly City.

Free: Old Fastrak Transponder Circuit Bd (Richmond) DO NOT PUT THE OLD ONE in the US MAIL. FASTRAK DOES NOT WANT THEM BACK. They are useless as a FASTRAK transponder. They will no longer work in about a month or so. That is why the new ones are being sent out. Read the letter that comes with the new one! These should be recycled. Many of us will be getting the new transponders because the old ones will stop working in about a month. I used a putty knife to split the case open into the two halves. One half can be immediately put into the recycling bin for plastics. The other contains the circuit board. All of the components on the boards still work. They are being replaced because Fastrak is changing the interrogator which reads the Fastrak transponder and the new interrogator will not work with the old transponders. The new one is also about the size of the current circuit board and is much smaller in the car. If someone has a use for the circuit board or the components on it, mine is available, but there are probably thousands more out there. I posted to Fastrak on X suggesting that they recycle the boards, but they never replied.

Free: Sturdy Castered Office Chair Base (Richmond) Expired I would think that someone might have a use for this sturdy base - I have shown height and the distance between each of the 5 legs with the casters on them. The rest of the chair did not last well at all - it was even poorly manufactured with little points sticking up through the padding on the left arm rest so I replaced it with Costco one. I am firm believer in recycling and think that if it has some value in current condition that someone might want it. If not, I will have to trash it in El Cerrito. It will easily fit in the car, so I might be willing to drop it off somewhere.

Free: Vornado Tiny Fan Motor (Richmond) Expired The fan stopped working, but you can see that the coils are still very bright and do not appear to be damaged. I am looking for a tinkerer who wants to use the fan motor or its coils or switch in some useful way. I also have what i think is the core for an automobile generator that I will give to the person who comes to get this. This is in the 1000 block of Lassen Street north of McBryde Avenue in Richmond. Provide your phone number in your reply message. Could also possibly drop this in San Francisco or Daly City.

Free: Small Cardboard Drums (Richmond) Expired These are Moose Munch boxes they make a nice sound when I tap on them like a drum and a kid sized - 8 inches diameter, 7 inches high - more than a dozen available now and some more in future. They just seem too good to just throw in the Blue Can. Could deliver to a non-profit or school from Hercules to Oakland, San Francisco - Daly City, San Rafael or close to 101 in southern Marin County.

Request: Whole Foods 365 Dressing Bottles (Richmond) Expired Looking for up to a dozen, one or more at a time, Whole Foods 12oz organic dressing bottles (see photos). I have found them to be the best current bottle for a drink I make for myself out of dried cranberries, grated fresh ginger and boiled water. Each bottle makes about 6 oz of drink and I often add boiling water to make more drink or just eat the cranberries and ginger. I have two bottles now, but I would like some more plus spares should any get broken and they become no longer available. I will go pretty much anywhere to get them since they seem to be very hide to find. The shelf picture, shows a number of currently available organic dressings in these bottles at the Whole Foods on Gilman Street. The other photo is a bottle of the drink I make in one of the two bottles I have. Sadly, they no longer sell that delicious flavor of dressing.
