White with wood laminate top. It's 5years + old and still running pretty well (ran it this morning). We're looking to get a smaller model to replace this one. The biggest problem is that if you don't clean the big chunks off the dishes first, it does tend to clog right at the connection to the sink, we keep a special tool handy to remedy this situation (a bent out paper clip). Easy to repair, tip it over to get to the motor. I once had a rubber band get stuck around the impeller, very easy to check and remove. You'll need to carry down one flight of stairs.
