Black metal, paint would make them look new. Size: First picture (garage lights): There are 2 at 22 inches. Second one (postlight): approximately 14-18 inches, needs a post and maybe a socket. Third one (porch light): 14 inches The last picture shows the set. They all have glass sides except the postlamp which is missing one.
