Large houseplant needs tlc (West Didsbury Manchester M20)

Pachira aquatica houseplant, around 1.25m tall. There is new growth on two of the plaited stems and lots around tje bottom, but generally I’ve really struggled with this plant. If you think you can revive it, please save it from my compost bin!
